本单元学习动词不定式的一些用法。
动词不定式的基本结构为“to+动词原形(有时可以不加to)”在句中除了不能充当谓语外，其他成分都可以充当,如主语、表语、宾语、宾语补足语定语等。本单元主要讲动词不定式作宾语补足语和状语的用法。
(1)作宾语补足语
动词不定式作宾语补足语时故在宾语后面，表示宾语是什么或者怎么样，有to do和to be两种形式。
The doctor advised him to tae a good rest. 民生劝他好好休息。

【注意】动词不定式作宾语补足语时，不定式符号 to在使役动词(have mae let)和感官动闻(feel hear,watch.see.notice等)的后面时要省咯。
(2)作状语
1.表目的:表目的时，不定式可放在句子前面也可放在句子末尾。
To get there on time. we set out at five in the morning为了按时到达那儿我们早上5点就出发了。
He goes there to enjoy the fresh air.他去那儿享受新鲜空气。
2.表结果:不定式作结果状语。一般位于句子末尾。
