A street cleaner and the policemen.
The street cleaner usually starts work when the Sun comes up.
The policemen usually start work when night is falling and the sky is dark.
The street cleaner sweeps the streets and makes them clean.
The policemen drive along the streets all night to stop thieves and those who fight.
The street cleaner thinks he helps keep the city clean.
The policemen think they help keep the city safe.

Writing
1. Write a verse about your classmates
You are going to write a verse about your class. Follow the following steps to finish your verse.
Step 1. Understand the rules of the game.
use four lines to describe 4 students from the class
the description must be typical about somebody
call them “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”
make sure the four lines have the
same rhyme
check to see if the verse makes sense
Step 2. Write your verse about your classmates. Use the example below to help you.
2. Put your verse into the poem on page 99. Don’t forget to give a title to the poem.
3. Read your poem to the class for them to guess who A, B, C and D are.
4. Try your best to create more poems.
