Cycling is very popular in our life. However, sometimes it may cause some accidents if the cyclist isn’t careful enough.
At about 8:15 yesterday morning in Zhenxing Road, Guangtouqiang was riding his bicycle very fast while listening to an MP3. Suddenly, a taxi came from the opposite direction. To keep from hitting the taxi , he ran into the wall and hurt his arm badly. The taxi driver rushed to him , called 120 and took him to the hospital.
I felt sad for Guangtouqiang because he is my friend. I think we should always be careful and follow the traffic rules when we cycle , or we’ll be in danger.

Section D教学设计
教材分析
本课是仁爱教材八年级下册Unit6 Topic 3 Section D,是属于一个话题里的读写综合以及复习课的结合。本节课(第二课时)主要通过整合教材(把本课的拓展阅读放在第一课时完成)帮助学生复习了前面三个Section的关于骑行的好处以及通过复习条件状语从句从而了解交通规则,从交通规则这一部分拓展延伸到学习如何写交通事故报告。
学情分析
班上大多数学生对自行车还是比较了解,同时也热爱骑行,学生能根据已知的生活经验分享骑行的好处以及各种的交通规则,所以学生对此话题比较感兴趣,贴近学生生活;本班46人,整体来说本班学生思维活跃、反应迅速,但往往思维深度不够、准确性稍微欠缺; 对于本节课而言,学生最大的难度在于如何运用“5W1H”提问法写好交通事故报道。但对于学生而言,到八年级第二学期,已基本具备了记叙文写作的能力。因此,教学中,只要教师大胆放手,多加引导,在一节课内完成学习任务是没有问题的。
教学目标

2. 复习并了解更多的交通规则;
3. 学会写交通事故报道。
二.能力目标
1.学生能通过讨论、问答的方式来综合运用本话题所学的知识,提高自身的语言交际能力。

通过学习了解交通规则,让学生学会遵守交通规则,学会自我保护、珍惜、热爱生命。

Step2 Presentation 1. To be a careful learner (Watch a video). 2. To be a good reporter (Complete the table). 3. To be a careful learner (Learn to write together with Nancy). 1.通过微课形式吸引学生“走进”新课,有助于集中学生的注意力,大大激发了学生自主学习的积极性和创造性,达到“以听促写”的目的。 2. 本环节让学生阅读熊二的日记并帮助它完成事故报告表。此环节的设计难度不高,学生比较容易接受且能较好完成任务,不仅训练和提高了学生的略读、查读的阅读技能,而且提高了学生阅读的积极性,达到“以读促写”的目的。 3.继续以微课的形式让学生了解并掌握“5W1H”提问法,帮助学生学会建构记叙文写作框架,让学生在自主探究过程中轻松发展自我写作能力,达到“易学、乐学、会学、学会”的效果。
Step3 Consolidation 1. To be a careful writer ( Write down a similar accident report according to the tips). 2. To be a perfect judger (Sharing and assessment--Check the compositions of two students from different levels, correct them and evaluate them in class). 1.让学生根据给出的交通事故报告表以及之前掌握的写作框架进行写作,写出第一稿,让所学知识得到升华,并把升华后的知识转变为真实的运用能力,发展了用语言做事的能力。 2. 经过老师课堂批改学生习作、学生根据评价标准进行简单自评和他评,发展了学生的学习能力;学生不仅成为写作的创造者,而且成为作品的评价者,这种多元的角色能较好地唤醒学生写作的主动性和写作的兴趣,培养学生积极思维和大胆创新的能力。

To be a great designer (Make a poster for Being Careful to Be Safe). 1. 让学生课后重写作文,对第一稿进行修改,培养学生的自我修改能力;下节课完成同伴互改环节,把过程性写作落到实处。 2. 第二个作业是作为本话题的一个拓展和升华,帮助学生整合本单元所学语言点,体现了素质教育中培养学生思维品质,能理性表达自己的观点,具备用英语进行多元思维的能力。
