一、教学内容分析
本话题在第一个话题的基础上继续学习和房屋有关的表达法,巩固和拓展there be句型,学习关于房屋类型以及谈论房屋周边环境,如各种设施和服务场所的表达法。本课是第六单元话题二的第一课时。本课的主要活动是1a, 3a和4a。通过人物对话呈现主要教学内容,学习住房类型的词汇和表达方式。本课的话题涉及到出租和求租,贴近生活,并且有一定的实际运用性,因此教师可引导学生搜集身边关于出租和求租的广告,进而提高学生学习的兴趣,调动他们的学习积极
二、教学目标
1.Knowledge aims
能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用: townhouse, farmhouse, country, apartment, rent, quiet, month, for rent 能够正确使用there be句型以及表示房屋类型的表达方式等;
能够运用“谈论房屋类型、居住环境和邻里关系、出租和求租”等话题进行交流与对话操练,如:
(1)—What kind of home do you live in
—It’s a townhouse with two floors.
(2)—How many floors are there in your building —There are seven.
(3)—Do you like living there —Yes.
(4)Michael is looking for an apartment near our school.
2.Skill aims
能听懂简单的课堂用语并做出适当的反应; 能根据图文就居住环境等基本话题进行交流;
能根据图文理解相关话题,并根据要求进行学习活动;
3.Emotional aims
能够在游戏、小对话、小表演等活动中,培养对学习英语的兴趣和积极主动的学习精神; 能够与同伴积极合作,参与课堂活动,大胆实践。
三、学习者特征分析
由于本校所处的地理位置和生源条件的影响,本届学生英语基础相对薄弱。本班学生的英语基础
在年级中还算比较优秀的。学生上英语课的积极性比较高,课堂气氛比较活跃,学生的好奇心强和进取心强,但是本班学生的英语成绩分化也比较严重,学生的口语表达不是很好。因此在课堂教学中我以激发学生的学习兴趣为主,引导每一位学生参与教学活动,让他们敢于开口和展示,为以后的语言学习奠定良好的基础。同时继续进行新课标理念的实践,坚持不懈的培养他们的自主、合作、探究的能力。
四、教学策略选择与设计
1.能够养成运用图片、关键词、视频片段、背景知识等帮助听说的学习策略; 2.能够清楚、大声地进行朗读,认真听录音和老师的发音,大胆开口,反复模仿; 3.能在学习过程中养成预习和复习的学习习惯。
五、教学重点及难点
1.能正确使用there be句型和表示房屋类型的句子;
2.能够就“谈论房屋类型、居住环境、出租和求租”等话题进行交流与对话操练;
3..能够写简易的求租和招租广告。

第二步:句型呈现,温故知新 1. Present new words of different kinds of homes with the help of the flashcards and pictures. 2.Play the tape recorder and check the answers. 1.Look at the picture in 1a. Try to predict what the conversation may be about in 1a. Then listen to the tape of 1a and match the buildings with the people in 1b individually.
第三步:学习课文,训练听读 1. listen to the tape of 1a and match the buildings with the people in 1b individually. Then check your answers with your partner. After that, make up new sentences according to the picture in 1a. Individual work and pair work.
第四步:学以致用,递进练习 Practice the conversation in pairs. Some pairs act out the conversation to the whole class. Look at an ad. about room renting. Find what may be talked about in an renting ad, the kinds of home, the price, the places, how many rooms and so on. 在这个环节中着重培养学生举一反三的能力,和解决问题的能力。
第五步:合作探究,风采展示 1. Learn to get information from ads 2.Do 3a. Read the sentences in 3a. Then scan the ads on the bulletin board and complete the sentences individually. Then check the answers with your partner. 学生学习语言的目的是为了运用,此环节培养学生的综合语言运用能力,同时强调小组合作的重要性。
第六步:情感提升,总结回顾 Show some pictures of the people who don’t and 1.To be a good listener. 2. Help students learn to predict before listening 3. Learn to get information from ads. 教师声色并茂地描述学科带给我们校园生活的乐趣,学生会去喜欢学科,热爱校园生活,在总结的环节采取问答的形式可以引导学生主动思考的能力。
第七步:当堂检测,作业布置 1. Assign the homework: Review the words and practice the conversations in Section A with your partner; Go on making ads about renting a house from/to others with your partners. Then report it to the class next day; Preview Section B. 习题设置分基础部分和中考链接,让学生体会成就感,引导他们努力打好基础。 习题的设置可检测学生知识掌握情况,及时发现和解决学生的易错点和忽略点。作业布置难易适中,鼓励学生的发散型思维,创造性地完成作业。
