教[ 材 分 析 教学目标 1. Listen to a speech about ballet and complete the notes. 2. Improve listening and speaking skills. 3. Learn to make, accept and reject suggestions.
教学重点 Learn to use “be going /planning to... and be thinking about”.
教学难点 1.Identify the changes in the speaker’s pronunciation and intonation, and understand the speaker’s intention. 2. Learn to make, accept and reject suggestions.
教学关键 1. Learn to take notes quickly when listening; 2. Master some listening skills before listening, and make them into practice when listening.

While- listening Step 4: Do the listening and finish the exercise. Do the listening and fill in the blank. Paly the recording and check the answers after the listening. To train the students’ ability of catching the information of the listening materials. 8
Post- listening  Step 5: Group work: Listen again and retell the passage according to the notes. Listen again and try to complete the sentences according to the notes. Organize the students to discuss, then ask some students to share the answers. To check their listening and train their speaking meanwhile. 8
Speaking Step 6: Talk time ①Discuss some polite expressions to make, accept and refuse suggestions. ②Summarize some expressions about making, accepting and rejecting suggestions ③Read the conversation on P26. ④In pairs, make conversations according to the situations below. You may use your own situations. Step7: Speak up Finish the exercise on P27. ②Discuss the meaning of each gesture. Follow the example. 1.Learn to make, accept and reject suggestions. 2.Make some conversations. 3.Learn some meanings of the gestures, then follow the example to make some conversations. 1.Sum up the expressions of making, accepting and rejecting suggestions. 2.Give a sample dialogue to students and ask them to imitate it. 1. Let students establish the awareness of the importance of body language in daily communication.
教学重点 Know the structure and contents of the main article.
教学难点 Know the order of events in the story.
教学关键 1. Understand the article and get some information. 2. Know how to use your body language to communicate with others.

While- reading Step 5: Reading task 1: Skim the story and divide it into 3 parts. Step 6: Reading task 2: Read the beginning of the story and answer the questions. Step 7: Reading task 3: Read the middle of the story and complete the table. Step 8: Reading task 4: Read the ending of the story and complete the table. Step 9: Read the story again and put the sentences in order. Step 10: Finish the D2 exercise in the textbook. Fast read and carefully read the reports and finish the reading tasks. Play the recording and lead the Ss complete the tasks while reading. 1. Reading with tasks and strategies can help improve their reading skills. 2.
