Let the students read the words and phrases according to the phonetic symbols on Page 116. Get the students to predict “What’s the passage mainly about ” Fast reading Read the passage as quickly as you can , and answer the following questions:Who wrote the letters to Miss Li Why What did Miss Li do 4 Detail reading Read the passage carefully and answer the following questions :What is Animal Helper What kind of person is the writer What is Lucky What can Lucky help the writer do Would you like to help the persons like the writer How Step IV After-reading Discuss the questions with a partner in groups . Circle the part of speech of each word and make your own sentences with these words. Step VI.
