Let the students understand the signs about the weather and the future tense with “will”. And try to have them use and express them correctly and freely. Through many tasks and games to get them to be interested in speaking English. So we can improve the students’ speaking and listening abilities.

Warm up

Let the students guess the cities.
Use a map of China to teach the nouns of location: north, south, west, east, northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest.
Practice the nouns of location using a map of China. “ Where is…? It’s in the … of China.”
Step 2.
Presentation
Practice their listening and speaking skills, and let them think and sum up.
1. To teach the weather words and sum up:

The aim of this lesson is not only to make students grasp many weather words, but also to make them become aware of the weather’s changing around themselves. As the topic of this unit, it also helps students to make sure about what they should do or not do in different weathers, which are also one of the most important abilities for living. After learning, they can talk in English. On the other hand, during their talking and writing the weather freely and learn to write a weather report, the teacher helps the students realize the importance of protecting the living environment.

As the conjunctions “and”, “but” and “or” are not new or difficult to the students, they can combine the sentences very easily. The focus is the usage of “it’, so we should help the students know the meaning and the usage of the word well and make sentences using “it” correctly. And then I’d like to deal with the pronunciation.
