1.在模拟情景中运用所学句型问答是否是某种蔬菜以及是何种蔬菜：Are these carrots Yes, they are. What are these They’re tomatoes.
2.在情景中恰当运用句型They’re good. They’re so big! 来描述蔬菜特点。
教学难点：
在语境中理解carrot和tomato的汉语意思，并能正确发音。

T：OK , Now Let’s sing it together
Ss：学生跟唱（Mary has a little lamb……）
（播放课件，学生在音乐节奏下感知farm）
Step2：Leading-in
T：Now today I bought some vegetables for lunch Look at my bag ,do you want to see them
S：Yes
T：OK .I describe them，you guess , what’s in it
Step3：Present/Practice
<1> 呈现实物，Guess 引出 tomato
T：They are red , They look like apples , but they aren’t apples
What are they
S1：Strawberry
S2：peach
T：No（摇头）
S3：西红柿
T：Yes , you’re right （呈现实物及单词卡片）
<2> T：Guess ! They are brown French fries are made of them
“French fries ”means “炸薯条”You know They are delicious, but we shouldn’t eat more French fries, because they are bad for our health.
Ss：土豆
T：Yes , Look ! potato （呈现实物）
Ss：Repeat potato （underline the pronunciation）
T: Wonderful , great （鼓励）（发音不准确，及时纠正）

S：Read one by one （开火车读，男、女生分角色读）

② Practice words.
(1)抢答：T：Take out your pictures，show me your…(onions)
(男女生比赛，看谁举得快，谁就获得★)
(2)英汉互译。T：“土豆”Ss：potato，并拿出word cards.
(3)高低音读单词：T：I speak lowly, you speak loudly.
