教学目标:
1、学习掌握本课新词information, project, guide, film, way, on, library card, as well;
2、学习掌握以下句型:We can find information from ... ; Where can we find ...
3、能积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
学情分析:在Unit 1 的学习中,大部分学生都已经学习并掌握了有关图书馆的书的类别的摆放位置的询问和表达:Where are the books about ... They are on Shelf A/B/... .对图书馆场景所需运用的相关单词已比较熟悉。在此基础上,学生对同一场景的不同表达的学习将会更容易进入状态,更加高效。
教学重点:本课一些单词information, guide, film, way, on, library card, as well, 及句型的学习:Where can I find ... ; 课文内容的理解;
教学难点:运用所学句型描述我们从某处找到信息的表达 We can find information from ... .
教学过程:

Free talk(复习)
1、 翻译短语

3、 Where are the books about animals

(设计意图:通过free talk以及根据课文内容回答问题,整体回顾复习上节课的学习知识,加深记忆,同时使学生快速把注意力集中到课堂上。)
Presentation
Step 1 For activity 1, listen to the tape and find out where are the Chineses book, Maths book, and the English book And where can we find them Through answering the questions, students will understand the meanig of e-book. Then read after the tape sentence by sentence. Then finish the practices: listen and chooes, read and circle.
Step 2 Discuss the usage of “Where can I find ... ”
Step 3 Several questions will be given as follow before reading the text: What does the word “project” mean What is the project about Where can we find information / The ways to find information are ... .
Step 4 When finishing the questions, students will learn the new words (project, guide, films, as well) with the help of pictures and explainations.
Step 5 Guess the meaning of each sentence and discuss with your classmates.
Step 6 Listen to the tape in activity 2, and read after the tape on the whole.
Step 7 The class is divided into four groups. The group leaders will read the text first, then the other students follow them.
Practice
1. Fast react: Students are required to translate the meaning of the word or just speak it loudly as soon as it is showed.

Production
Activity one: role play. The students will practice the role play in four groups according to the text. Then two of them will show in front of the class.
Activity two: group work. Look at the bedroom, and find the objects. Use the sentences to develop some conversations. A: Where can we find the... B: They are on Shelf ... .
Conclusion: make a summury about the learning of the lesson and then read the words and sentences together.
