【学情分析】
The students are all interested in English-leaning, but they should be confident in themselves to improve their English levels. They have no chance to speak English after class, and they also be afraid to open mouth to speak English.

【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Greeting
Greet the students with: Hello, everyone! How are you going today Let some volunteers respond.
Ⅱ.Present
1.Show the class a timetable. Let the students look and answer. Ask some questions like this:
T: How many subjects do you have every day
S: We have...
T: How many classes do you have every day
S: We have...classes.
T: How often do you have English/math/P.E...
S: We have it once/twice/three times...a week.
T: When do you start and finish school
S: We start school at...and finish school at...
T: Good! Today we are going to talk about your school life. How is your school life going
S: ...
2.Help the students answer this question and give details about their school life.eg: something about any subjects, tests or other assignments they are doing in school.
3.Write how is your school life going We have...once/twice/three times a week. /I am a little busy this term. /I am good at English/Chinese/music. On the Bb. Help the students use these words and phrases properly.
4.Write social studies and shop on the Bb. Explain what these subjects are. Make sure the students understand the meaning of these words.
Ⅲ.Listen and Answer
1.Play the audiotape for Lesson 13. Play it once. Ask the students to listen carefully.
2.Play the audiotape a second time. Let the students complete the exercise.
3.Check the answers as a class and point out the different subjects.
Ⅳ.Read
1.Instruct the students to read Lesson13silently, and answer the questions independently.
2.Students check and correct their answers in groups.
3.Discuss the answers as a class.
Ⅴ.Extension
1.Discuss the following questions as a class.
2.What does Wang Mei think of her school days
3.When does Wang Mei start and finish school
4.How often does Wang Mei's school have a sports meeting
5.What sports does Wang Mei take part in at the school sports meeting
6.Check the answers as a class, give them some help if they need.
Ⅵ.Listen and Read
Play the audiotape for Lesson13again, and let the class to listen and read aloud after the tape. Let them attention to imitate the pronunciation they hear.
Read the conversation in pairs, or the students can act it out in front of the class.
Ⅶ.Pair work
Finish: Let's Do It! No.4
1.Instruct the students to work in pairs to complete the timetable in the student book.
2.Students should use their complete timetable to make up a dialogue following the example in the student book.
Ⅷ.Class Closing
Complete Let's Do It! No.3.
Students do the exercise independently, then check the answers in groups.
