本课是六年级下册 Unit 4 Then and Now B 的 Let's talk.本课是一般现在时和一般过去时的综合应用,孩子对一般现在时已经很熟悉了,在第三单元的时候也接触了一般过去时,本课学起来应该比较容易,只是由于班级人多,在练习的时候有些局限。

1.重点:能听、说、读、写句子:Before,1 was quiet. Now,I-m very active in class.1 was short,so I couldn't ride my bike well. Now,I go cycling every day.并能在实际的情境中运用。
2.难点:掌握different的发音。

1.Play a game:
活动方式:教师出示几个单词,让学生说出同类词:tall, red, summer. go swimming ,play football ,cook dinner….
2.Before, I was…I couldn’t…I didn’t like…, I thought…
Now, I am…I can…I like…
tall/short/thin/strong/quiet/active/…
play football/basketball/badminton/…ice-skate/go cycling/cook dinner/go swimming/eat ice-cream/make a snowman

三、新课呈现(Presentation)
1.教学B.Let -s try
Mike’s friends are visiting his home. Listen and circle.
(1)学生朗读B.Let's try中呈现的问题和选项。
(2)教师播放B.Let's try的录音,学生听完录音后勾出正确的选项。
(3)全班校对答案。

a. Watch the video and answer:
1、 How did Mike change
b. Read and repeat. And pay attention to the sentences: We are all different now.
c. Read and answer the question: How did John change
d. Read in pairs and act out.
四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)
1. Talk about my daughter
2. Talk about your friends or family members. How did they change
活动方式:学生自己组织一段话来谈谈家人和朋友的变化。如:
Joe is my brother. He was cute ten years ago. He was 0.8 meters. He liked playing toy cars. He had many toy cars. He liked red. He had red caps, red T-shirts,
red shoes.
Now he's ten years old. He-s 1.5 meters. He likes playing badminton. He's strong and healthy. He likes blue. His schoolbag is blue. His bike is blue.
学生先四人一组交流各自的表述,最后教师请一些学生上台交流。
