Remember that when you are listening, you do not need to write in complete sentences to take notes. You can just use the “important words”.
These are usually nouns, verbs and adjectives, in notes you can miss out the “little” words like and, the, some, is, are, I, they etc. you can also shorten words or just use letters for some words to help you write notes more quickly.

审定主体结构
人物传记是记叙文体的一种,但人物传记主要是写名人或伟人的生平事迹,因此写人物传记时,要抓住其出生年月、主要事迹、人们的评论等进行叙述。
确定篇章结构
文章可分为三部分:
第一部分:简述钱学森的一生;
第二部分:列举他一生中的主要事迹和成就;
第三部分:概括人们对他的评价。
注意事项:
1. 本文为人物传记,时态多为一般过去时,主要人称为第
三人称。
2. 把握人物传记的首要特征——真实性,对人物的介绍要
实事求是。

Qian Xuesen, a famous Chinese scientist both at home and abroad, was born in Shanghai in December, 1911. He passed away on October 31, 2009, when he was 98 years old.
He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1934. In 1935, he went first to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and then, a year later, to the California Institute of Technology, where he got two doctor’s degrees. Though faced with many difficulties, he returned to China in 1955.
Then, he devoted himself to China’s aerospace industry and made great achievements.
He will be always remembered by all Chinese people as the “father of China’s space program”.
