have a great/good time (in) doing sth.
表示“愉快地做某事”, 相当于have fun (in) doing sth.
e.g. We have a great time (in) helping the old people. 我们很高兴地帮助那些老人。

我正在学习英语，而且我学了很多。
a lot在此作副词短语，在句中作程度状语，表示“很；非常；常常”，用来修饰动词。

(1) a lot of (= lots of),可修饰可数或不可数名词，意为“许多，大量的”，相当于many或much。
(2) a lot、a lot of、lots of通常用于肯定句，否定句中一般用many或much。

4. I want to call you but my phone isn’t working,
so I'm writing to you. 我想给你打电话，但电话坏了，所以我就给你写明信片了。
(1) call sb.意为“给某人打电话”，call此处作动词，call sb. at…意为“拨打……号码找某人”
e.g. Sorry to call you so late. 抱歉这么晚打电话给你。
(2)write to sb.意为“给某人写信”，其反义短语为hear from sb.或get a letter from sb.，意为“收到某人的来信”。
e.g. He writes to me every week. 他每周都给我写信。
5. It's hot in your country now, isn't it

本句是一个反意疑问句，提出看法，问对方同意与否。
这种问句由两部分组成，前一部分为陈述形式，后一

主谓在人称、时态和数上要保持一致。

—It's sunny. 阳光明媚。
“How‘s the weather ”是用来询问天气状况的常用句型，相当于“What's the weather like ”在句末可以加上“介词+地点/时间”等短语。
e.g. How's the weather in Shanghai

上海的天气怎么样？

—Not bad, thanks. 不错,谢谢。
“How‘s it going ”是用来询问对方近况，可意为“情况怎么样？/最近怎么样？/一切还好吗？”。 后面可跟介词短语with sb./sth.。

一、现在进行时(二）
1.现在进行时常用的时间状语及提示词：now、at present、at this moment等或有look、listen等提示语。
e.g. It's raining now.现在正在下雨。

2.现在进行时的基本用法
(1)表示说话时动作正发生或进行。
e.g. They are playing basketball. 他们正在打篮球。
(2)表示现阶段或不限于说话时特定的时间范围内进行的动作。
e.g. They are working hard at their lessons this year.
今年他们正在努力学习。
(3)有些动词的现在进行时用来表示按计划或安排将要
进行的动作。常用的动词有：come、go、arrive、 leave、start、stay 等。
e.g. Are you staying till next week 你要待到下星期吗？
(4)现在进行时和always, constantly, continually等副
词连用，表示反复出现的问题，常常带有一种不赞 赏、不满等感彩。
e.g. The boy is constantly asking silly questions. 这个男孩总是问些愚蠢的问题。
【注意】
有些动词如 know, lie, stand, have, own, belong to, like, love, want, hope 等，通常不用于进行时。
e.g. She wants to go home. 她想回家。
二、谈论天气
1. 常见的询问天气的句型有：“How's the weather ”
“What's the weather like ”。两个句型后面都可
以加“in+地点”，用以询问“某地天气如何”。
