重点掌握下列单词:cold, warm, cool, hot, weather
教学难点
我国不同地点天气情况,及单词“weather report”的发音。
教学过程:
Step 1Warm up/revision
1、Greeting
2、T show fingers, the Ss say the numbers
(设计意图:通过看手势说数字的活动,既活跃氛围,同时为后面的温度学习做好铺垫)
Step 2 Presentation
1、T show a weather glass(温度计). ask the Ss to read the numbers on it, and tell the Ss how to read the temperature : number +degrees.(比如26℃).
2、Show the Ss some pictures, and try to elicit the new words and key sentences: It’s warm\hot\cool\cold. It’s ______ degrees.
(设计意图:通过温度计在不同情景中的使用,导出新词和句型,让学生对抽象的天气有具体的指标概念和情景感受)
Step 3 Drills
1、The Ss try to put different weather glass in correct order.
2、Read, spell and write the new words.
3. Look at the pictures and say the words.
4. Play a game: The Ss should say a sentence quickly with the word they see.
5. Show the Ss the weather of Anyang today.
6. Let’s chant。
(设计意图:通过排温度,读一读、写一写,看图说单词,打地鼠由游戏中看单词说句子,活动难度逐渐增加,在学生在轻松活泼的氛围中,掌握单词和句子,紧接着的chant则是在音乐节奏中起到了承上启下的作用。)
Step 4 Practice
Show the Ss the picture of weather report.
1. Listen and fill in the blanks.
2. Read the weather report
3. The whole class stand up and try to make the weather report.
4. Show the Ss a map of our world, help the Ss to make a new weather report.
5. Let’s act.
(设计意图:通过对weather report的听、说、模仿,来练习和提升学生听力和语言运用能力。)
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
1、 Weather reporter be wanted for our school radio station.
2、 Emotional education.
3 、Act like a weather report er.
(设计意图:.通过学校电台选拔天气播音员的活动,播报安阳各景点的天气情况,来进一步提升学生语言的综合实践能力,紧密联系生活。天气的变化和很多因素有关,最后鼓励孩子们探索大自然的秘密,努力学习知识。)
