Teaching contents:

Teaching aims:
knowledge aims:
review the number we have learned.
students are able to listen, read and say the new words: breakfast, English class, lunch, music class, P.E. class, dinner.
the sentence of “What time is it ” “It’s nine o’clock. It’s time for English class.”
ability aims:
the students can communicate with others by these words.
b. they can speak and know the meaning of “What time is it ” “It’s nine o’clock. It’s time for English class”
moral aims: make students be more interested in English after this class, besides use the simple words to communicate with others.
Teaching important points:
new words : breakfast, English class, lunch, music class, P.E. class, dinner.
new sentences: What time is it It’s nine o’clock. It’s time for English class”
Teaching difficult points:
words: breakfast, o’clock.
understand the new sentence of this class ,such as: It’s time for English class.
students can use the new number to solve the problem of our life.
Teaching aids:
Pictures, tape recorder, the cardboards.
Teaching procedures:
The first period
Step 1: Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls, Good morning!
I’m very glad to be here, I’m your new teacher.
you can call me Miss Li.
Hello, boy, what’s your name
Oh, XXX, nice to meet you.
Step 2 Lead-in
warm-up/ revision
Review the number of we have learned.
Play a game to review the numbers.
Step 3 Presentation
show the cards and introduce new words
教师通过做一个小游戏带领学生画出钟面。Show me 1,show me 2….在学生听和做的同时,教师在黑板上写上12个数字,在最后一个口令,show me 0 的时候,教师画出一个大圈圈住12个数字。
The teacher say what’s this It’s a clock. What time is it (教师将钟拨到7点。It’s seven o’clock.教师强调说seven o’clock.
教师领读o’clock.告诉学生们o’clock表示整点。
教师变换时针,然后反复训练。What time is it It’s nine o’clock…
2. Learn the new words.
(1)指着七点说,it’s seven o’clock.并播放幻灯片。说出It’s time for breakfast.
(2)利用课件和钟面上的小图继续教授时间的表达和其它的几个单词、词组。
(3)通过教师领读和听音跟读,让学生掌握正确的读音,尤其要注意breakfast和o’clock的发音。
3.Practise and play a game.
(1)教师将教具上的钟时针拨到不同的位置,提问学生:What time is it 学生举手进行抢答。老师根据学生的回答,引导他们用句型进行完整的回答。It’s ten o’clock…
(2)把木棒当成黑板钟面的时针,分针画在黑板上指向12固定不动,教师移动木棒,让木棒轻轻敲打黑板发出声音(一个整点响一下),并问:“What time is it ”,让学生随着木棒的移动说出不同的整点时间“It’s ( ) o’clock” .
Then, listen and guess.让一个学生闭上眼睛或背朝黑板,另一个学生移动木棒,其他学生一起问:“What time is it What time is it ”根据木棒发出的声音,学生必须猜出时间“It’s ( )o’clock.”
(3)教师拿出准备好的生词卡。出示图的一小部分,让学生通过观察判断图上画的是什么,并说出相应的单词。然后让学生把每幅图贴在正确的位置。
4.Let’s do部分
(1)教师拿着教具钟转动时针,用另一种声音代表会说话的钟:“Hello, I’m Mr.Clock. What time is it what time is it It’s 7 o’clock, Time for breakfast. Time for breakfast.然后,教师转动时针,让学生来演会说话的钟,替换句子中的“7”和breakfast”,操练“It’s( )o’clock .It’s time for lunch/dinner. 学生根据老师说的单词做出相应的反应。Breakfast做出吃吃喝喝的动作。然后老师带着学生说drink some milk..依次类推,引导出lunch, have some chicken; dinner, eat some rice.
(2) 教师转动时针,结合学生已学过的学科名称,引导学生说出“time for music”,“time for English”等等。可以用另外一种声音说,为下面学生的活动做一个示范。在这个过程中,教师出示一张临时课程表,
当教师将时针指向9点钟时,让学生说出“Time for English”,并说出可以做的事情,如:We can read and write….依次教出“Time for P.E.”“Time for English”,“Time for music”.
(3)看图做动作。结合课件和图片,复习Let’s do 部分的练习。
