教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up
1.师生相互问候。
2.唱本单元歌曲“Changes in me”。
3.眼疾口快。规则:教师出示图片,学生抢答说单词,抢答到的学生还要拼读出单词。然后全班齐拼单词。(其他游戏亦可)
Step 2:Presentation
1.Let’s check.
(1)先让学生观察课本这三幅图片画的是什么?并尝试用英语描述。
(2)教师播放录音,学生给图片标号。
(3)全班讲评订正。
(4)学生读图片下单词并翻译。
(5)教师再次播放录音,学生边听边将没有听到的单词划去。
(6)师生共同交流答题技巧。
2.Let’s wrap it up.
(1)在PPT上展示课本上的五幅图,让学生之间相互商量如何表达每一幅图,并记住这些图的内容。
(教师可板书相关词汇或句型来降低难度)
(2)教师在PPT上把五幅图反过来,并重新排序,在每幅图背后分别标上1~5的数字。
(3)由一名学生随意点其中一个数字,并根据记忆说出其中一幅画的变化,教师随意点另一名同学,问他是否相信前面同学所说,如果相信,并能按照前面同学所说的再描述一次,画面内容与描述一致,两名同学可分别为所在组赢得两分;若所说不一致,两人各得一分。
Step 3:Homework
1.小小配音员。教师播放Let’s talk的动画,学生分组给动画配音。
2.环保小达人。学生六人一组,制作一份英文版的保护环境的宣传海报。可以介绍一些环保小举措,一起争当“环保小达人”。海报制作完成后先在班级展示,评出奖项,如:“最佳创意奖”“最佳版面奖”等,最后选出一些作品进行展示。
3.课堂小练习。(PPT展示)
(1)全班学生一起做;再找学生回答。
(2)给学生时间独立完成练习,再核对答案。
4.学后反思:请几名同学分享自己的学习感悟等。
Step 4:Homework
1.复习本单元内容。
2.完成练习册对应习题。

教学反思
本课时巩固复习这一单元的语言点,在Let’s check版块设计上注重“听”“说”“练”结合,让同学们在易于接受的情况下完成听力训练。而在Let’s wrap it up版块,为了增加此项活动的趣味性,教师把活动变成了游戏,提高了同学们“识图说话”的能力,也活跃了课堂气氛,取得了不错的的教学成效。备课内容: Unit 4 Then and now 备课人:

本单元以过去和现在为话题,重点学习表示过去的时间状语、学校设施和部分动词及动词短语。 本单元以学生的实际情况出发,通过说唱歌谣、小组合作等形式使学生处于轻松、快乐、趣味十足的学习氛围。

1、 听说认读star,easy,race,felt,trip,woke,会听说读写gym,ago,cycling,badminton.
2、 能够熟练运用There be句型描述过去的事情和现在的事情。

(1) Show the picture of grass. T: What’s this Ss: It’s grass. 板书grass并教读。Chant: Grass, grass. Play football on the grass. 以同样的方法教学dining hall, gym. Chant: Dining hall, dining hall. Have lunch in the dinning. Gym, gym. Play basketball in the gym.
(2) 教学单词ago及词组... years ago, ... months ago. 教师先说几个句子让学生感受。T: I went fishing three days ago. I went to Beijing two years ago. 板书并教读ago。 让学生说出... years ago, ... months ago的意思并造句。
2. 出示两张新旧学校图片介绍并板书:There was no gym in my school twenty years ago. Now there’s a new one in our school. 教读。学生学说句子,描述学校以前和现在的样子.如:There was no computer room ten years ago. Now there’s a new one in our school.
3. Play the tape of Let’s learn.学生仿读。

本单元是人教PEP版英语六年级下册复习单元。本单元通过Mike幸福的几天生活情况,讨论:1.有关农场的情况,2.Mike和新朋友的学校生活的情况以及对未来的规划等。3.Mike的学校发出了晚会邀请,学生参加送别晚会,并在小故事中感受友情的可贵。 单元的学生通过几个单元的学习,对六年级下册的英语知识点有了大致的了解,利用复习单元,加深学生的印象,提高学生的英语水平。并在情感方面有了更高层次的升华。
单元教学目标:
1. 会给单词归类;
2. 去市场之前会列好清单;
3. 会描述在农场的活动内容,会描述自己的学校生活;
4. 会规划自己的未来,有自己的理想;

教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up
1.师生相互问候。
2.复习单词和重点句子。
(1)Bomb Game.规则:教师在课件中反复呈现本课词组的图片,其中穿插炸弹图片。如果学生看到词组图片时,立即大声读出;如果学生看到炸弹图片时要用手捂住耳朵并迅速趴在桌子上“躲避”。(进行游戏时,出示图片要由慢到快;教师可以先带小组读单词,开火车读单词。等到学生对单词比较熟悉时,再让学生看图片,说单词。)
(2)Guess,Guess,Guess.规则:教师在课件上出示单词卡片(含配图与单词),遮住单词的一部分(开头或者结尾),学生快速猜测并读出该单词。
3.教师请学生拿出收集的所在城市的10年前和现在的照片及做成的海报,六人一组讨论,每人派一名代表在班里向大家展示和介绍。
Step 2:Presentation
1.Let’s try.
(1)教师在课件上出示自己的一张近照,请学生描述;教师请学生猜猜自己以前的模样,然后出示自己以前的照片作自我介绍。
(2)教师在课件上呈现一幅Mike和朋友在看老照片的图片,先让学生猜猜他们在看什么,引出对话背景。
(3)教师引导学生看题并进行猜测,然后播放录音,完成Let’s try的题目。
(4)教师再次播放录音,师生一起核对答案。
2.Let’s talk.
(1)听前预测:教师介绍Let’s talk的对话背景,并提出问题:“What were they like before ”,引导学生想象他们三人以前的样子和性格。教师可给出以下提示单词或短语:Appearance:short,tall,fat,thin,long hair,short hair …Character:quiet,active,kind,funny …
(2)教师播放本部分课文动画,学生认真观看,获取核心信息,并根据对话内容,在相关的信息下打钩。
(3)教师播放录音,学生跟读。
(different和active为新词,教师需解释其意思,并提醒同学们注意它们的发音)
(4)学生自主阅读,提出自己不懂的词句,教师给予解释。
(对话中“You are wearing a pink T?shirt.”虽是指Mike老照片里所穿的衣服,但在谈论照片时,欧美国家比较倾向于用一般现在时或进行时进行描述)
(5)教师播放课文录音,学生逐句仿读。
(提醒学生在跟读的过程中注意模仿录音中的语音、语调)
Step 3:Consolidation and extension
1.小小配音员。教师播放Let’s talk的动画,三名学生一组给动画配音。
2.我的旧照片。学生拿出自己带来的旧照片,四人一组,描述自己与他人的变化。
如:A:Before,I was quiet.Now,I’m very active in class.How about you B:Before,I was short.Now,I’m tall.C:Before,I didn’t wear glasses.Now,I wear glasses.D:I had short hair before.Now,I have long hair.
3.Listen and guess.教师在课件上呈现一些名人的近照和旧照,学生六人一组,选择一位名人,一名学生根据看到的照片进行描述,其他同学猜猜是谁。

5.学后反思:请几名学生分享感悟。
Step 4:Homework
1.观看课文动画或听录音,按照正确的语音、语调朗读课文对话。
2.找出爸爸或妈妈的一张旧照片,用所学句型描述并写出他(她)过去到现在的变化,不少于5句话。下次上课时向同学介绍爸爸或妈妈的变化。
3.完成练习册对应习题。

教学反思

Step1:Warm-up
(1) 教师给每组分发相同的动词短语小纸片,如:play badminton, eat food,drink water,run,go cycling,ice-skate等。一个学生在台上做动作,小组合作排序,比一比哪个小组排得又快又准。
(2) 同桌二人运用所给的动词短语,运用过去时和现在时的对比描述来写出变化。如:“couldn’t run very fast before. Now,I run like a cheetah. ”“I was so short that I couldn’t go cycling but I go cycling every day now. ”
Step2:Presentation
(1) 组织学生快速阅读这三个自然段,并排出图片顺序。
(2) 学生精读短文,理解短文大意,并根据上下文理解“race” “nothing”“thought”“felt”“cheetah”“dream”的意思。
(3) 教师点拨重难点句子。
A. There was nothing he could do.他什么也做不了。
B. His father ran very fast,but Wu Yifan could not.后半句省略,引导学生理解句意。
(4) 小组讨论,并合作理解短文,将短文表演出来,可以一人读旁白,其余的组员饰演Wu Yifan,his dad,Max,other animals等。教师可根据学生饰演的动作来判断学生是否理解短文,并给予指导和 评价。
(5) 基于对短文的理解,完成短文练习第二题,并训练学生的听力,巩固过去时的用法。
Step3:Consolidation and extension
(1) 按照事情发展的顺序,将文章中的动作词语圈出,并小组合作写出相应的动词原形。学生有不知道的,教师要巡视指导,可制作表格。
(2) 模仿Wu Yifan所写的梦境,自己也写几句关于自己的一个有趣的梦境,要运用过去时。教师可指导学生习作。

(4) 听“Let’s try”部分:Mike’s friends are visiting his home.思考:What are they talking about What grade was Mike in 为“Let’s talk”部分的学习做准备。

1.呈现新单词。
(1)教师在课件上呈现一所学校(本校的图片或者学生身边的图片),复习已经学过的学校设施名称,如:library,playground,computer room等,引出并教授新单词:dining hall,gym,grass等。
(2)可以请发音标准的学生领读,再用开火车读、比赛读、声音高低读等多种方式练习,加深记忆。
(3)教师在课件上呈现自己不同时期去不同地方旅游的照片,分别向学生介绍并组织学生描述,引出并示范表示过去的时间短语last year,last month,…years ago,…months ago等的运用。

1.Bomb Game.规则:教师在课件中反复呈现本课词组的图片,其中穿插炸弹图片。如果学生看到词组图片时,立即大声读出;如果学生看到炸弹图片时要用手捂住耳朵并迅速趴在桌子上“躲避”。
(进行游戏时,出示图片要由慢到快;教师可以先带小组读单词,开火车读单词。等到学生对单词比较熟悉时,再让学生看图片,说单词。)
2.Guess,Guess,Guess.规则:教师在课件上出示单词卡片(含配图与单词),遮住单词的一部分(开头或者结尾),学生快速猜测并读出该单词。
3.Which is missing
(1)教师在课件上出示单词图片(可以重复出现),教师让学生先认真观察,然后让其中一张图片快速消失,问学生哪一个单词不见了。最先回答出来的学生所在的小组获胜。

Step1:Warm-up
(1)教师拿出学校的图片和学生对话。T: What’s this? S:It,s a library.引导学生用“There be …”句型来说:There is a library in our school.以此类 推,分别描述 teachers’ office,playground,computer room,art room 等。
(2)利用多媒体分别展示3年前、5年前、10年前学校的图片,并运用“There was/were…”句型来进行描述。
Step2:Presentation
(1)教师展示餐厅的图片,并做“吃饭”的动作,“It’s a place where you eat food. ”引出“dining hall”,引导学生说:“ There is a dining hall in our school”。
(2)展示体育馆的图片,引出“gym”,S:There is a gym in our school.
(3)教师指着学校的草坪:“What’s this?”“It’s grass. ”“ There is a grass in our school. ”
(4)教师展示出5年前学校的图片,并说:“There was no gym in our school five years ago.引出“ago”和“There was/were …”句型。
(5)操练“ago”句型可多举例子,如“years ago”“months ago” “days ago”。
(6)听“Let’s learn”部分,并学习正确的语音语调。
(7)拿出5年前及现在学校的图片,并引导学生进行对比描述。如:There was no dining hall in our school five years ago. Now there is a new one in our school.
(8)学生模仿教师的描述,用“Thee be…”句型的过去时和现在时分别对学校5年前和现在的建筑、样貌进行区分描述,并对比理解。
Step3:Consolidation and extension
(1)完成“Find the mistakes”。
A.组织学生观察图片,并圈出不可能出现在 Tang Dynasty 的建筑和物品。如:gym,dining hall,post office,bus,traffic lights,motel,cinema,cafe。
B.找一位学生示范读Sarah所说的话。
C.引导学生用“过去时的否定式”来描述出错误,如:At that time, there were no gyms. People didn’t go by bus. People couldn’t use the Internet.
D.小组合作写句子,并派一位代表上台描述所 发现的错误。
(2)描述自己教室里所发生的变化,10年前,5 年前和现在物品,来进行对比。如:There was no computer in our classroom 5 years ago. There is a computer in our classroom now. Students didn’t/ couldn’t use computers to watch a film.

1.猜动作。规则:教师每次请一名学生上讲台,根据教师的纸条提示表演动作,台下学生猜。哪一组学生在规定时间内猜对的句子最多即为获胜者。
2.找朋友。规则:教师让每个学生在各自的纸条上分别写一个自己小时候不会而现在会的运动。然后学生在教室里随意走动,在规定时间内寻找与自己情况一模一样的朋友并记录下名字。
3.交际性活动:好朋友的变化。
(1)教师组织学生进行调查,采访班上的两个好朋友,并做总结陈述。教师可提供以下问题供学生进行交流:①Did you like spring / red / basketball before What about now ②How did you go to school before What about now

(1)以小组为单位,组员相互讨论,介绍自己现在的学校,可运用“There be…”句型。
(2)给每组发一张学校的简笔画,小组合作,给学校的建筑标上英文大名,如:playground,library,art room,classroom,teachers’ office,computer room等等。比一比,哪个小组标注得最快。
Step2:Presentation
(1)教师拿出Wu Yifan的新旧学校的简笔画,并请一名学生介绍学校现在的情况,如:There is a library in his school.请另一名学生介绍以前学校的情况,There was no library in his school.将 is,was标注出来,引起注意,强调区别。
(2)请学生模仿刚刚的句型,对比介绍“computer room ”。如:There is a computer room in his school. There are many computers in it. There was no computer room in his school. There were no computers ,either.
(3)可以多举一些例子,帮助学生理解Thee is/are …和 There was/were …的区别。
(4)完成“Let’s try”部分。Today, there is a guest visiting the school. 一起听听力,并作出判断。
(5) Grandpa 作为guest来到Wu Yifan 的学校,一起来听听 What are they talking about 听第一遍时,跟读对话,学习正确的语音语调;听第二遍时,思考问题,并作出判断:A. There was a library in Grandpa’ s old school. B. There was only one small building on a hill. C. He couldn’t see stars at night. D. There are computers now.;听第三遍时,理解对话大意,并结合上下文理解“star”“easy”“Internet”“How do you know that ”“ Tell us about your school. ”
(6)学生三人一组练习对话,并表演对话,请几组上台表演,教师予以指导。
Step3:Consolidation and extension
(1)替换其中的关键词,如“library”“computer” 等,重新编写对话,并表演对话。
(2)要求学生画出自己5年前的学校以及现在的学校,并向组员一一介绍变化,运用句型“ There was/were…”“ There is/are…,,来对比描述,其他成员评价、纠正并学习。

1.阅读前。
(1)教师出示动物赛跑的图片并介绍:This is a race.There were many animals in that race. The cheetah is the fastest of all.板书:race,cheetah和句子There were many animals in that race.先让学生说说这两个单词的意思并引导学生拼读,然后让学生说说句子的意思。
(2)教师出示单词:think,feel,wake,让学生说说这些动词的意思。并引导学生了解这些不规则变化的动词过去式,然后领读这六个单词。
(3)教师提问学生:Did you have a dream last night 并板书:dream。先让学生说说单词的意思,再回答问题。
2.阅读中。
(1)第一次阅读:学生独立阅读课文内容,画出自己不理解的句子,和同学讨论。
(2)请学生说出不理解的句子,学生们互相答疑解惑,教师适当指导。
