一：教学目标：
（一）知识与技能：
1.能牢固掌握本课的词汇：basic、take energy from…、in a word.
2.了解如何介绍植物对人类、动物和环境的重要性。
（二）过程与方法：采用任务型的教学方式，通过学生小组合作、互相交流讨论的学习方式，充分调动学生的积极性，主动参与到学习的过程当中，体验学习Lesson8的学习过程，牢固掌握知识点并能灵活运用，同时正确理解植物对人类、动物和环境的重要性。

二．教学内容：
1.本课的词汇：basic、take energy from…、in a word.
2. 固定句式：It’s pleasant to do sth.
3.同义短语的用法区别：be made of与be made from.
4.课文内容及介绍植物重要性的句式：
(1).The air is always clean and fresh.

四．教学思路：
本课主要涉及介绍植物的重要性。在授课之前先让学生自己了
解回顾最近发生的恶劣天气现象。课上课通过小组合作的形式相互讨论交流；在此基础上教师通过教学ppt向学生展示几张环境优美和荒芜的照片，让学生进行比较植物的重要性，同时正确理解课文内容和牢固掌握文中的重要知识点。

Step1:Lead-in:
通过教学ppt向学生展示几张环境优美和荒芜的照片，让学生对照片
进行观察比较，讨论植物对人类的重要性，从而导入到教学课题。
（设计意图：通过图片对比，直观形象，从而能激发学生的求知欲和
学习兴趣。）
Step2:Learn the new words and phrases
pleasant : adj.使人愉快的 shade: n. 树荫；阴凉处
fulfill: v. 达到、执行 basic：adj.基本的、基础的
soil: n.土壤、土
It’s pleasant to do…:做…..很愉快。
take energy from …:从…..获取能量

句意：在森林里散步很愉快。

举例：每天吃一个苹果是很重要的。

(药品和衣服也是由树和植物制成的。)

（羊毛衣是由羊毛制成的。）
活动二：观察与讨论：
be made from 与be made of 两者都表示“由……制成的”，其区别如下： be made from: 强调做成的成品看不出原材料
be made of: 强调做成的成品能看的见原材料

活动三 讨论：植物的重要性体现在那几个方面：
对人类：能够满足人类的基本需求。
Trees and plants can fulfill human basic needs.
对动物：动物能生活在森林里，吃树上的果实。
Animals can live in the forest and eat the fruit from the trees!
对环境：树和植物能阻止水土流失。
Trees and plants can stop water and soil from carrying away.
树和植物能帮助清洁空气.
Trees and plants can help clean the air!
植物也能使我们的国家看上去更漂亮。
Plants also make our country look more beautiful.
