【教学过程】
Ⅰ．Analysis of the student. （学生分析）
1．Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly.
2．Do the duty report: a student on duty can say whatever he/she likes to say.
3．Review: Last week, we learned about the plant, and we knew that why we need plants, and why are plants important
Ⅱ．Lead in. （引入）
1．Homework check.
2．Come to "Think About It!"

Ⅲ．New lesson. （新课）
1．Prepare lessons before class.
Teach the new words and phrases. Make sure the students can read it correctly.
2．Text: Give them some time to read the text themselves. Then let them act out the dialogue in groups. Correct their pronunciation when necessary.
At last, the teacher explains the text in Chinese, make sure the students can understand the meaning of text.
3．Important sentences:
I ran all the way to your house.
He hasn't been to the zoo in Mange Kang yet.
She is afraid of you. Don't be afraid of me.
Zoe likes to eat fish. She is gentle and quiet.
I'd like to have a dog. Dogs are friendly and loyal.
4．Project: Work in groups. Interview your group members about their pets and complete the survey.

5．Grammar: Indefinite Pronouns (some, any)
（1）Some 的用法
a．Some: adj.（多用于肯定句、希望得到对法肯定回答的疑问句中）
①修饰可数名词复数，指三个或三个以上，“一些、若干”
E.g. some children like playing in the park.
Would you like some apples
②修饰不可数名词，“一些、若干”
E.g. there is some water in the bottle.
Would you like some tea or coffee
③修饰可数名词单数，“未确指的人、事物或地点”
E.g. some man at the door is asking to see you.
b．Some: pron. “一些人、一些物；有些人、有些物”
E.g. there are many people in the park. Some are walking. Some are talking.
E.g. some of the dumplings are made of shrimps （虾，小虾）
（2）any 的用法
a．Any adj.（多用于否定句、疑问句）
①修饰可数名词复数，“任何数目的人或物”
E.g. I didn't eat any apples.
E.g. are there any stamps in the drawer
②修饰不可数名词，“任何量的”
E.g. can you speak any French
③用于肯定句中修饰单数可数名词，“任何一个”
E.g. give me a pen ---any pen will be OK.
b．Any pron. “任何一个人/物”
E.g. she didn't spend any of the money.
总结：表示一些时，some用于肯定句和希望得到肯定回答的疑问句中；any用于否定句和疑问句中。
6．Finish "Let's Do It!"
Ⅳ．Play the tape for the students to follow.
Make the students listen the text, then let them read follow the tape.
Ⅴ．Summary. （小结）
