2.能了解介绍保护环境的表达法。
3.能了解一些介绍保护环境的句式。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与介绍保护环境有关的词汇:Protect, waste, save, clear, recycle, reuse.
2.学会介绍自己所知道的环保常识。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
(1)I think everyone should take care of the environment.
(2)I often check to make sure there aren't any leaks, and I never forget to turn off the tap.
(3)A truck picked up our recycling every week.
(4)It's not too hard to protect the environment.

【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Lead-in
Discuss the following questions:
1.T: Is your hometown clean enough now

2.T: Do you have any ideas for reducing waste

3.Discuss in groups for three minutes. Then some students present their answers in front of the class.
Ⅱ.Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the passage. At the same time, fill in the blanks with the words you hear:

Finish the task in class orally.
Ⅲ.Reading
