【教学设计】
本课时主要是通过对话练习，让学生能够熟练的掌握对数量多少的提问的句型：How many… 以及表示数量的数词的表达。
【教学过程】
一、教学导入
1．Greetings.
T：Good morning，boys and girls！
S：Good morning，teacher！
T：Nice to see you again！
S：Nice to see you，too.
2．Let’s chant.
教师播放本课时第四部分的chant，导入本课的主题。
二、新课呈现
1．Let’s say.
T：Here is a picture right Now can you tell me how many monkeys are there in this picture
S：…
T：大家可以数一数。
S：26只。
T：OK. How to say in English
S：Twenty-six.
T：Good. Now listen to the radio and then repeat ok
S：OK.
（教师播放第一部分的录音，学生跟读）
2．Ask and answer.
T：Look at this chart. 看看老师这里的一张表格，How many children are there in Class 1
S：There are 42.
T：Good. How many computers are there in Class 2
S：There are 30.
T：Right. How many boys are there in Class 1
S：There are 27.
T：OK. Now you can make a dialog with your partner like this.
S：OK.
（学生两人一组，练习这个句型，一人提问，另外一人回答。）
3．Play a game.
教师出示带有数量的卡片，学生看完之后记住，然后老师提问：How many… are there in the picture
学生凭借记忆说出卡片上的数量，回答对了的学生给予一朵小红花的奖励。
三、基础巩固
做"找朋友"的游戏。
教师给学生1分钟的时间，让学生下位子去找与自己拥有相同数词的同学。教师说停后，看谁找到了"朋友"，并让拥有相同单词的"朋友"一起说：We are…找到朋友的学生都说完后，教师再给时间让学生去找"朋友"，继续游戏。
四、外延拓展
Do an interview.
四人一组，通过小调查的方式来了解自己所在学校的一些基本情况。
五、练习作业
1．听录音，并熟读第三部分的对话。
2．把第四部分的chant唱给爸爸妈妈听。
