一、Teaching objectives:
1、Knowledge objectives:
Students can read and speak the key words ”zoo, bird, panda, tiger, elephant, monkey” and some important sentences” What’s that It’s a tiger.”
2、Ability objectives:
Students can use the words and sentences to introduce the animals . 3、Emotional objectives:
Students can develop the awareness of we should love animals.
二、Teaching key point
进一步学习常见的几种动物单词“zoo, bird, panda, tiger, elephant, monkey”
Teaching difficult points
1、区分 What’s this？和 What’s that 的区别。
2、bird 的发音以及 elephant 开头元音音素前加 an.

教学课件，单词卡片，小奖品，四线三格贴
三、教学过程
一、Lead-in
Greet to students. T：Hello,...Good morning. S：Hi,Miss Zhao.Good morning. T：How are you
S：I’m fine,thank you.
T:Do you love me Yes or No S：Yes!
T:Thank you!Let’s have a love hug. T:Boys and girls.I love you,too.
设计意图：通过打招呼的方式拉近和学生的距离。运用 Do you love me 这个句型凸显主题“爱”。
Then let’s watch the video.After that, you should tell me what can you see
S：Rabbit....
T:You can see. animal
T:Do you love animals S：Yes..
T:You love animals. I love animals,too

设计意图：播放疯狂动物城动画片段，一方面引起学生的学习兴趣，一方面带领学生认识不同的动物。
二、Presentation
1、Do you want to know some new friends Let’s find them!
Where is it Is it a school No... zoo . Have you been there Let’s go to the zoo. The bus is coming！Biubiu Are you ready
设计意图：展示合肥市野生动物园的图片，结合学生的生活实际，带领学生一期去动物园走一走看一看。
2、刚走进动物园就传来一阵悦耳的歌声（a beautiful song） What’s this
It’s a bird.
I see a blue/yellow/...bird.
设计意图：放一段鸟儿唱歌的声音，让学生猜测是什么动物，引出单词 bird. 并且展示不同颜色的鸟儿来询问学生，及巩固了新知又复习了上学期所学的关于颜色的单词。
3、The next animal. I draw you guess. What’s this It’s a cat No.
What’s this It’s a tiger. Who can act like a tiger
设计意图：我画你猜的方式引出 tiger.先画一个小猫脸询问学生这是什么，最后再额头加上“王”再询问这是什么。
4、Then let’s look at the picture.What’s this It’s an elephant.
(run the train)
设计意图：展示图片，让学生能够直观的看到这是什么动物。5、The animals are very mysterious.make a riddle.
What’s this It’s a panda.
设计意图：通过猜谜语的方式引出小动物。激发了学生的好奇心，又在猜谜语的过程中了解了熊猫的特性。
6、The last one I do you guess Monkey
Who can act like a monkey
设计意图：我做你猜。通过模范猴子的动作让学生猜，生动有趣，并让学生试着去模仿动物的动作。
三、Practice
This time is the Game time!玩游戏之前分为四大组。每答对一个问题该同学就会获得一个星星。最后，哪一组获得星星最多那一组就会成为今天的“冠军”。
第一关 What’s missing
有 5 幅图片。大家要找到哪一幅消失，并将它大声的读出来。
第二关 Help animals to find their homes 谁能帮助小动物找到自己的家
第三关 Let’s have a chant
设计意图：通过闯关的形式来巩固学生所学的新单词和新句子，闯关难度逐步
升级。
四、Production
1、To be a little guide (Group work)
It’s Miss Zhao’s farm. 邀请一位同学做小导游。另一位同学做游客。运用所学句型来介绍农场里的动物。两人一组。
2、Let’s watch the video and some pictures.
说说你的感受
主题：We should love animals.
设计意图：让学生当小导游，发挥是学生的能动性，运用所学知识去充分应用。最后通过一些图片和视频对学生进行情感教育。我们要爱动物，爱身边的人和 事物，爱校园等。
五、Homework
Make more riddles to your parents.
Draw yourself farm,and draw your favourite animals in your farm.

七、Reflection
课堂活动形式多样，丰富有趣。课堂气氛生动活泼。单词新授环节中句子的训练较少，导致后面进行小组活动的时候有些学生说不出来。课堂中，应多发挥学生的主动性，让学生多说，多做。
