I. Analysis of the teaching material:
At first, this lesson is in the first part of unit2, Shaanxi Travel Press. In the last lesson, students are capable of mastering the words:spring,summer,autumn,winter, but they can’t use them very well.By the end of the class, the students recognize some new words:March,April and May.Next,the students learn about something interesting in each season.What’s more, students use the new sentences It’s warm and trees are green. We like to...Summer is hot, but we can...in order to express themselves better. Last but not least, students can understand cherish time in their daily life.
II. Analysis of the students:
In the first place,the students in Grade 5 are very active and curious. And they always pay attention to something new easily, but they don’t have the enthusiasm and passion for a long time.At the same time,it’s very vital to teach students to express their ideas with the new phrases and sentences, because the vast majority of the students in Grade 5 are rich in English,including vocabulary and western cultural background.Actually, the most of the students are weak in speaking English,therefore,the teacher should focus on the pronunciation of the phrases and sentences,giving them the more chances to speak English and encouraging them .

Purpose of my design:
1.Inspire the knowledge that students have learned.
2.According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus,lead-in the new class with the English song,Four Seasons,which can encourage students.And students are more interested in the classs.
ii. Presentation
1. Review the four seasons

Ss:There are four seasons in a year.
Teacher divides the circle into four parts.Each part represents each season.

Teacher invites one student to write four seasons on the blackboard.
Purpose of my design:
Basis of mathematical graphics, classification, and inductive thinking,the circle is divided into four parts.Each part stands for each season.On the other part,students understand the changing of the four seasons with clockwise,which for the latter part of the class.
2. Master the new words
Teacher shows students some pictures about spring and learn about the new words.

Ss:Spring.

Purpose of my design:
In teaching, teachers can create situations to stimulate feelings by showing some pictures.What’s more, it’s very important to use Communicative Language Teaching that can make students happy and talk with their teacher fluently. In the teaching process,teacher changes the teaching method so as to encourage students’ interest in the class.
3. Master the new sentences

Purpose of my design:
Using Total Physical Response Teaching Method, students preview the knowledge that they have learned and learn about the difficult points,partly because TPR teaching method can lead the language into the right brain to master the second language easily and touch the language.
4.Learn about the passage

Read the passage fluently and understand the main idea of the passage.

Read the passage again and answer the questions:

1.Watch the video about the passage and finish exercise paper.
2.Read the passage fluently.
Purpose of my design:
In the part, there are three steps:pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading. In the pre-reading, master and understand some words;forecast the text.According to the text, firstly the teacher gives students three questions and then students answer them.Meanwhile, practice the new sentence by between teacher and students talking with each other.At last,students read the text loudly so that evaluate the learning effect.
iii.Practice
a.Make a survey and write a short passage.
Purpose of my design:
Firstly, Students have 5 minutes to make a survey about seasons with their friends.And then write a short passage.Making a survey is a prerequisite to write a short passage.Secondly,in the part,encourage students talk with their friends to show their ideas.Thirdly,in the process of communication,they can improve their confidence;They get pleasure and happy from group discussion.
b.discuss with foreigners
In the part, with the internet and wechat ,we can connect with foreigners to talk about seasons.
Purpose of my design:
To begin with, it is very useful to inspire students’ learning initiative.Next, it can improve the students’ oral English for talking with native speakers.At last,they can preview what they have learned in class and express their own ideas by themselves.
iv. Conclusion
Invite students to be a little teacher to summarize what they have learned today.
Purpose of my design:
In the process of the part,students are “a little teacher”,because they can conclude what they have learned in class by themselves. That demonstrates student - centered and promotes students overall development.What’s more,teacher can master the effect of the teaching.
v.Finish Emotional Aims
The teacher shows students some pictures about four seasons.And tell students how time flies,please don’t wast time.
Purpose of my design:
First, show some picture about seasons round to achieve the emotional aims.And then,urge students to cherish the time and enjou their daily life.

1.Write a short passage about Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter.
2.Make a plan of spring outing with your parents.
Purpose of my design:
Homework is divided into 2 parts,according to the ability of the different students.Students only finish homework , one of them.In this way,students can develop their individuality and improve the efficiency of their studying.

On the basis of the development of the new curriculum reform, I decide to rev up Fusion Curriculum in Jian Kang Hua Cheng Primary School,partly because Fusion Curriculum is the new subject, which can broaden students’ horizons and inspire their interest in learning English; And partly because improve importance and effectiveness of the class.Therefore, in this lesson, I make music,maths and P.E in my English class.Now I have been already to analyze my teaching from the following aspects:
I.Preparation and teaching process
During my preparation, I prepared lots of music and pictures to realize the revision and teaching of the words and sentences in this lesson, because I found that they were attractive when students saw them during the teaching.I believed that they can make students participate in the class.What’s more,it was very vital for listening to the music,since a large majority of students were very nervous. Listening to the music made students more relax. In addition,on the blackboard,, the circle represented a year. According to the number of seasons, the blackboard was divided into four parts.Each part stood for each season, spring, summer,autumn,winter. Last but not least, students learned about English words by doing actions,such as go swimming,make snowmen and fly kites.In the other word,it was necessary to use TPR teaching method in words so that students can remember and understand easily words.

I encouraged them to try their best in my class. Actually, at the beginning of the class, they felt quite nervous just in front of the teachers from different schools. In the teaching proceed, I used competition forces to raise up students. And then,when they do exercise, they can cooperate with others to finish their tasks.At last, students concluded what they have learned today by themselves,which can check student's study results. Ⅲ The organization of the class
In terms of my organization of my class, there were six parts in detail.They were leading-in,presentation,practice,conclusion,homework and so on. According to the teaching aims, all of the steps were carried out successfully during my class. Warming-up and leading-in occupied about 3 minutes; presentation accounted for 12 minutes; practice occupied about 13 minutes; conclusion lasted about 3minutes. On the one hand, I was quite satisfied with the part of practice for each student participated in speaking English and expressing their own ideas. On the other hand, I was not satisfied with the writing the short passage, because some students didn’t have enough time to write their passages.If I had enough minutes, I have must presented their papers to all the classmates and gave some corrections and advice if necessary. The last part was enjoying the picture of the nature, which leads to cultivate students’ emotion, attitude and values.
All in all, on one hand, this was a quite successful class. On the other hand, during my class, I found some unsatisfactory elements in my teaching,especially teaching methods. In addition, the classed should be more interesting and adhere to the students’ ability and right values. In order to realize the new concept of teaching, I acknowledge I must do more research on the books and learn more from the others. I believe firmly I will be a good English teacher in the future.
