一、教材分析:
本单元的主题是“English Food”,Unit1 What did she have for lunch 的语言功能是Describe eating habits(谈论饮食习惯);学习任务是学习目标语句“What did she have or breakfast/lunch/dinner yeaterday ”并能用She had……来回答询问。本单元主要围绕一般过去时来谈论别人的饮食习惯,本课时主要以问答的形式谈论别人各餐吃了什么
二、学情分析
本课时在新标准教材中使用的对象为五年级。他们的英语知识已经有了一定的积累,英语听说读写等方面的能力有了相当的基础,具备了初步运用英语做事的能力。在学生已有的语言知识结构上,对于课文中出现的食物sausage、 sandwich、 delicious、traditional是第一次接触。因此根据教材内容和本地学生实际学请确定教学目标如下:
三、教学目标:
(一)知识目标:
1.100%的学生能够全面参与本课时主要单词:email、sausage、 sandwich、 delicious、traditional的学习,且90%的学生能够运用自如。
2.100%的学生能听懂会说句型:What did she /he have for breakfast/lunch/dinner yesterday She/ He had eggs and sausages/sandwiches/fish and chips. 100%的学生能够理解该结构的意义,100%的学生能够运用该句式进行简单的交流,85%的学生可以运用自如。
(二)技能目标
1.100%的学生能够理解What did she /he have for breakfast/lunch/dinner yesterday She/ He had……所表达的意义,85%的学生能够运用所学句型向别人自由询问昨天一日三餐吃过什么。
(三)情感目标
1.了解国外饮食,分析与中国饮食的不同,增强学生的文化意识。从而形成正确合理的生活饮食方式。
(四)语用目标
1.100%的学生能够理解What did she /he have for breakfast/lunch/dinner yesterday She/ He had……所表达的意义,85%的学生能够在真实的生活情境中调查并转述别人的饮食习惯。40%-50%能在老师的帮助下完成电子邮件的书写。
四、教学重难点:
1.对一日三餐单词的掌握和运用。
2.了解英语国家饮食习惯。
3.询问别人和谈论自己的一日三餐的饮食

六、教学步骤:
Step1 Warming up
1.Greeting:Hello,everyone.
Sing a song: How many apples
Lead to the topic: food.
2. Brain storm between the teacher and the students:
1) What food do you know Have Ss discuss in groups and say as many kinds of food as they can for a PK.
2) What’s your favorite food
4) Look and say
Step 2 New presentation:
1. Lead-in:
T: Today Sam was ill. His mother took him to the hospital. The doctor asked his mother 3 questions.
1) T plays the tape, have Ss listen: What did he have for breakfast
He had noodles.
Teach breakfast by repeating. Ask S1 to play a word game with the rest Ss. Play a bombing game to practice reading the sentence.
2) T plays the tape, have Ss listen: What did he have for lunch
He had fish and rice.
Teach lunch by repeating. Ask S2 to play a word game with the rest Ss.
Pair work: read in roles.
3) T plays the tape, have Ss listen: What did he have for dinner
He had 4 hamburgers.
Teach dinner by repeating. Ask S3 to play a word game with the rest Ss.
Group work. Have 3groups to read for a match.
Step 3 practice:
1. Pair work. S1 asks, S2 answers.
2. Answer questions.
3. Listen and fill a short passage about grandma.
Step4 Extension:
1. Do a survey:
What did you have for breakfast\lunch\dinner I had___.
2. Report: He\She had…for breakfast\lunch\dinner.
、教学反思:
这节课还有不足之处,若时间允许,可深入英国饮食文化大搜索,学生充分了解西方文化,讨论不良的饮食习惯对我们的身体有什么危害。
五年级的学生毕竟是小学阶段的孩子,在玩中学仍然是他们最主要的学习方式,让他们更乐于参与到我们的课堂中来。培养学生乐学、巧学英语的能力,保持学生学习英语的兴趣至关重要,要想尽办法让我的课堂充满活力!
