七、语法复习:过去进行时
过去进行时由“was/were+动词的现在分词”构成,其基本用法如下:

An Unhappy Experience
My junior high school life is colorful and I am happy in these three years. I made many friends and learned quiet a lot of knowledge. However, there is still an unhappy experience that I can’t forget forever. From the experience, I knew that studying hard is the key to success.
I wasn’t interested in math in Grade 8, so I didn’t work hard on it. I copied my friend’s answers in a math exam to get good grades, because I didn’t want to let my parents down. Unluckily, I was found by my math teacher.To my surprise, he didn’t say anything and just asked to his office after the exam. He smiled and said one sentence “I believe you!”. After that, I worked hard and math is my best subject now.
