3.Emotional Aim: Different people have different preference for different foods. It's hard to say which the better one is. But we must realize that it not only takes a lot of hard work, but also a long time to cook the cuisine. We must respect food and value it.

Students have learned about many things related to the Silk Road including places of interest, history and culture. But they know little about the traditional food along the Silk Road, especially in China.

Ⅰ.Leading in
Men often say there are four happiest things in the world——to earn American dollars, to eat Chinese food, to marry a Japanese woman and to live in an English house. (Show related pictures.)
Apparently, Chinese food is so famous throughout the world. We have a long and rich food culture. This lesson will lead you to talk about food in China.
Ⅱ.Learning New Words
1.Pronounce the following words for several times.
