【教学目标】
1.Read the dialogue, learn some words and expressions
2.Know about the simple past tense:

【学情分析】
The students are in Grade 7. They have the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. They are good at exploring and have fun together. They are happy to express themselves and have strong curiosity to new things. They are all from the neighborhoods near the school and some of them are weak in English. But most of them are very interested in English and want to learn it well.
【教学重点】
1.New words: project, interest, still, anywhere, talk about, places of interest, make a joke…
2.Know about the simple past tense.
【教学难点】
Write about a place of interest they know and introduce it.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.T: OK! Everybody. Class begins. Do you like this piece of music Are you happy This class we are going to talk about Unit2lesson Seven What's your project about (板书)What does the word 'project' mean Show a picture and learn it. Ask: What are they doing They are working on their project. Would you like to read the title together

Show some pictures to learn some new words.
1.Two students read the words and the other students read after him or her.

Write about a place of interest you know and draw a picture of it in groups. Then some groups come to the front to show their pictures and introduce the places of interest. The winners will get some candies as prizes.
