命题特点
记叙文是高考完形填空中出现频率最高的一类文体。体裁主要是记人、叙事、写景、状物一类的文章。记叙文,以人物为中心,以时间或空间为线索,按时间的发生发展和结束来展开叙述。近几年高考完形填空题中的记叙文主要以叙事记人为主,大多数富有积极的教育意义,给人以人生的启迪或是充满了生活情趣或人生感悟。记叙文型的完形填空的命题特点可归纳为:
(—)句首完整,线索清晰
绝大多数文章作者都会用一句话点明人物的姓名、身份或事件发生的时间、地点,然后再逐渐深入介绍事件的发生、发展,最后得出结论,所以研读首句对于学生了解全篇至关重要。
(二)叙述灵活,侧重语境
绝大部分文章是作者在描述事件,较少加入本人的观点或评价。 因此,文章往往会出现态度与观点的跳跃变换,或语气上的差异,这增加了情景的迷惑性和干扰性,从而突出了对语境的依赖。
(三)一般过去时为主其它时态为辅
在一般过去时为主的同时合理使用其它时态,文章所叙述的动作有了层次感和立体感。
(四)以实词为主,虚词为辅
记叙文完形填空的篇幅不长,大约240个词左右,每个小题所给选项一般都属于相同词类、同一范畴。错误选项也多半和空前、空后文字形成某种搭配,从而起到一定的干扰和迷惑作用。为了提高试题难度,引导学生从整体上理解文章内容,全面接受信息,备选项多涉及实词,尤其是名词和动词,虚词的考查较少,这样更能体现在语境中考查英语运用能力的思路。
(五)动词为主,特别是动态强的动词
由于动词的多方面考查,使得文章生动活泼,动感十足。
(六)以情境意义选择为主,语言、心理活动选择增多
大部分题目都需要考生从全文出发,根据前后语境或行文逻辑作出判断,体现“突出语境”的命题风格,在叙述中将人物的语言、动作和心理活动融为一体,极大地丰富了考生的想象空间,同时也增加了试题的难度。
解题技巧
(一)读透首句,掌握主旨
重视首句,明确短文话题,了解篇章结构,预测全文内容。从历年的完形填空可以看出,首句一般不设题。这就是我们理解文章的内在联系的“突破口”,首句句意往往为全文提供中心信息,读透首句可为全文的胜利提供保证。
(二)跳空速读全文,掌握中心
速读全文要求一气呵成,跳过空格,快速阅读,领会大意,把握中心。重点了解时间、地点、人物和事件,所以即使有生词或不明白的地方可略过,了解记叙文文章内容、结构、时态等,从整体上把握文章主线。
(三)利用语境,推断事件发展
根据上下文语境找出信息是做好完形填空题的关键,近年高考试题越来越侧重逻辑推理判断,所选词汇在特定的语境中所表达的隐含信息大都无法只从字面信息或单从个别句子的表面理解获知,只有借助上下文乃至全文语境的启示或限定才能够准确做出判断。因此,考生一定要根据语境,推理故事的发展、作者的心情、以及观点和态度等,在细节的选择上做出合理的安排。
(四) 浏览全文,复查核定
根据记叙文的线索,考生一定要进行回查,仔细推敲,矫正全文,使故事恢复原貌,检查语意是否前后一致,上下文是否通顺连贯,内容是否完整 ,所选词汇是否符合语法、句法结构,以便对于所选选项不当之处即时做出调整。
