设计思路 1. Type of lessonReading: A play Hansel and Gretel2. Educational approachBased on some teaching theory, this lesson will stimulate students’ interest and desire to learn new reading strategy to understand a play.3. Analysis of teaching material(1)Ss have learned some stories before.(2)The main target in this lesson is to help students use 5W questions to understand a play.4. Analysis of studentsJunior two students bear curiosity to explore the unknown knowledge and take interest in expressing their ideas in English. They have certain abilities to think about questions and solve problems in English. They are willing to work with others.
教学目标 After this class,1.Students will master some important and difficult sentences(1)The weather was so dry that no food would grow.(2)As soon as you wake up ,you must go to the forest with your father.(3)Unless we do , we won’t find our way out.2.After some practice, 60% of the students can use 5W questions to understand a play.30% of the students can understand “Hansel and Gretel”, 10% of the students can grasp some important words . 3.Students will know that we should be kind and friendly to each other.

Preparation 1.Greeting2.Ask the students to use 5W questions to guess out the actor.3.Lead in the kind of text. 读前的活动是为了激发学生的阅读兴趣,通过学生感兴趣的话题导入5W问题及文章体裁。
Presentation Ask the students to read the first paragraph and find out the answers to 5W question. 通过快速阅读第一自然段回答5W问题,让学生对文章进行整体感知。
Practice 1.Ask the students to read Scene1~7 to fill in the chart.2.Ask the students to find out the important and difficult sentences.3.Group Work: Ask the students to discuss the important and difficult sentences in groups and solve the problems.4.Do some exercises. 通过认真阅读七个场景完成表格对两次森林冒险进行细节感知。让学生自己找出文中重难句,培养学生自主学习能力。小组合作学习:解决重难句。通过分层练习来验收学生自主学习情况。
Production 1.Ask the students to describe each character.2.Play the recording and ask the students to read and imitate.3.Ask the students to role play their favorite scene. 通过让学生描述角色性格特征及听录音模仿角色,使学生在理解戏剧大意的前提下进一步感知戏剧内容。让学生带着对角色的理解来角色扮演,既检测学习效果又激发学生学习兴趣。
