学情分析

通过本节课的学习,学生能够:
通过回忆、联想、归纳、总结等方式记忆食物、运动相关话题词汇;
通过翻译句子,表达运动的重要性;
通过略读、扫读、细读等方式理解关于“如何处理压力、均衡生活”的篇章,锻炼阅读微技能、梳理提供建议的句型,并且在阅读中感知注意、获取和记录相关词汇表达;
通过小组合作讨论出“保持健康”的具体化建议,且在此过程中提高团队协作意识和合作学习能力;
反思自我学习生活习惯,提高维护身心健康的意识,且能够在今后生活中做出改变。
教学设计理念
新课标提出在教学过程中实现学科核心素养的培养,实践六要素整合的英语学习活动观,提高学生学用能力。本节课创设了“向学生Judy提供建议,解决身心健康问题”的语境,以如何保持健康的三个方面(饮食、运动和心态)的讨论为主线,设计了听取信息、翻译和表达句子、描述和阐释学生压力问题,提取、归纳“提供建议”句型、以及创造性地迁移知识、运用所学来解决实际问题等活动,学生通过自主和小组合作学习,基于已有的知识,促进了相关语言知识的积累、语言技能的提升和思维品质的发展以及学习策略的运用。
作为马上面临中考的初三考生,学生们最需要也较缺乏的是中考考点知识和切实有效的解题技巧,由此,本节课的学习活动主要以中考考题的形式出现,如:听填信息、回答问题等,且在教学过程中,给与学生清晰的技能指导,如:听前预测、变换形式、划关键词等;除此之外,要求学生书写的任务其实也是重要知识的过关清单,等等。
教学过程:

Task 3: Reading Ss read a passage on how to lead a balanced life and answer some questions; Ss find out and conclude the writing skills and sentence patterns on giving advice. Ss are able to skim, scan and read carefully to get the specific information; Ss are able to analyze the passage and conclude the writing skills and useful sentence patterns.
Task 4: Problem-solving Ss work in groups and discuss the advice to help Judy to get better by using the expressions learned today. Ss present the advice in their group first and present in front of the whole class later.
