After I arrive here,I begin my class.
arrive意为“到达”,是一个不及物动词,不能直接跟表示地点的名词。如果要跟名词,就必须加介词in或at。在“大地方”前加in,在“小地方”前加at。
如果arrive后是地点副词,就不用介词。我们学过的“到达”的另一种表达法是get to。
▲be late for的用法
下周开会别迟到。Don't be late for the meeting next week.
be late for sth.意为“做某事迟到”,其同义词组为do sth. late。
