教材分析 本模块的话题是描述他人的性格特点和学习表现。本模块在语言上主要是复习巩固动词“be”的用法,为下一模块学习“was/were”做准备。所以,本模块为尚未完全掌握“am/is/are”用法的学生提供更多巩固、实践的机会,帮助他们达到能够基本运用动词“be”的要求。
教学目标 语言知识目标功能:描述他人的性格特点和学习表现等。 语法:全体学生能运用It’s Parents’ Day. He works hard. She’s quite good at English. 词汇: 全体学生能理解:hard, lazy, parent, Parents’ Day, speak, with, quite , good at, English , PE, Chinese, art , report, try全体学生能运用:parent, speak, with, English , PE, Chinese, art , try语音:感知课文与韵句的语音语调。语言技能目标 听:全体学生能听懂: It’s Parents’ Day today.He works hard. She’s quite good at English. 说:全体学生能说: It’s Parents’ Day today. He works hard. She’s quite good at English. 读:全体学生能认读:parent, speak, with, English , PE, Chinese, art , try 部分学生能认读:hard, lazy, Parents’ Day, quite, good at, report 写:全体学生能拼写3-4个自选单词。运用:全体学生能运用已学语言描述他人的性格特点和学习表现等。学习策略:能够观察别人的优点,并对别人的性格特点和学习情况进行描述,能够对自己在各个学科中的学习表现进行自我评价,并制订有效的学习计划。文化意识: 对一般的赞扬、请求、道歉等做出适当的反应情感态度:积极尝试使用英语描述他人性格特点和学习表现任务: Unit 1 描述朋友的性格特点和学习表现。  Unit 2 开展学习表现调查,并结成“互帮互助”小组
教学重点及难点 重点: 全体学生能够理解对话大意。大部分学生能够在情境中正确运用句型He works hard./ He’s clever./ He is (isn’t) lazy …来描他人性格特征,要正确运用…’s very good at …, …’s quite good at…, …. tries hard at …, …runs fast in PE…, … doesn’t work hard at… 来描述他人的学习情况。 难点:大部分学生能够对他人的特征和学习情况进行描述。

第一课时教学设计
教材分析 (简单介绍本课时如配图故事、话题、词汇、句型、功能等等)第一单元课文情景是学校举办“家长日”,Daming的父母去学校了解Daming的学习情况。 Ms Smart告诉他们,Daming很聪明,学习也很用功,不调皮也不懒惰。Daming的父母很高兴,回家转告Daming后,Daming也非常开心。第一单元话题是描述他人的性格特点。功能:描述他人的性格特点和学习表现等。 语法:全体学生能运用It’s Parents’ Day. He works hard. 词汇:全体学生能理解:hard, lazy, parent, Parents’ Day, speak, with句型:全体学生能够理解Is Daming naughty in class No, he isn’t. His work is good. I’m happy with that. 大部分学生能够利用上述句型描述他人性格。

The students guess the words the teacher talk to Daming’s parents. Listen and choose the right sentences. Step 3: Practice and consolidation Show a picture of Daming and the main sentences. Game: The introduction and marketing event. The students choose the right sentences according to the dialogue. They students talk about Daming with the main sentences. 教材分析 本课的话题是描述他人的性格特点和学习表现。本课在语言上主要是复习巩固动词“be”的用法,为下一模块学习“was/were”做准备。本模块为尚未完全掌握“am/is/are”用法的学生提供更多巩固、实践的机会,帮助他们达到能够基本运用动词“be”的要求。前两课已经将知识点学习结束,本课主要是针对前两课的知识点进行巩固和运用。
