I. Warm-up Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Wu. Play the song-ABC song Students sing the song with gestures to consolidate the letters. Your show time: ask some students to act out their Dialogues, and others evaluate their performance. II. Presentation and Practice Review the letters: show some letters on PPT and ask students to read the letters. Then ask students to say some words with those letters. Play a game-guess. Show some pictures on PPT and ask students to guess what are they. T: Guess. What’s this Ss: Is it a skirt T: Yes / No. When students are right, the teacher clicks the picture. In this way, the teacher introduces the first word--uniform. Learn the words-uniform and vest. Show the picture of uniform and ask students to read the word after the teacher. Then read the word one by one. The first letter is U and ask students to read the letter on the blackboard. Then show the word-nest on the PPT. Ask students how to read it. Then change the first letter to the letter v. Ask students how to read it and what’s the meaning. Then show the picture of vest and ask students to write the letter on blackboard.Read the word and letter together. What’s passing When the pictures or words are passing, students say them one by one quickly. Let’s do. Work in groups with four students. One is to be the teacher, and others are to be the students. S1: Show me the letter U. S2, 3,4: OK. Then ask some groups to show how they do. Learn the dialogue. Show the picture of the dialogue. Gao Wei has a uniform,but he doesn’t know whose it is. Let’s listen to the tape to find the answer. Then read the dialogue after the tape. Is it Peter’s uniform Can you help Gao Wei find its owner? S1:Is this your uniform, Yang Ming S2: Yes. / No. Let’s act. Ask students to act out the dialogue. Other students evaluate their performance. Lost and Found. I have so many things. But I don’t know whose they are. Can you help me to find their owners S1: Is this your eraser S2: No, that’s my eraser. S1: Is this your eraser S3: Yes. Thank you. III. Production. Make up a new dialogue. According to the dialogue of this lesson, students make up a new dialogue. A: Is this your ..... B: Hmm, no. That's my ... A: Thank you. A: Is this your... C: Oh, yes. Thank you. Then ask students to act out their dialogue. IV. Summary Students talk about what they have learned in this lesson. And the teacher evaluates students’ performance.
