Quan Hongchan became famous because she won a gold medal in the Women’s 10-meter Platform Diving at Tokyo Olympic Games when she was 14 years old. However,it is not easy for her to achieve success. She was born in a poor family in a small village and she had to take care of her family. At the beginning , she joined in the diving competition in order to save money for her sick mother. Then, instead of complaining about life and feeling sorry for herself, she made an effort to train hard every day.Finally, she got the first place .
