知识技能目标：
能听、说、认读形容词 tall, short, thin, fat并理解词义，并能简单运用。
过程方法目标：
能用“ Look at... It's ... ”的句型介绍动物特征。
进一步掌握表示高矮、胖瘦的单词 tall, short, fat, thin，并结合本课的对话用这几个单词来描述某物的简单情况。
情感目标：
在活动中习得语言，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。教育学生动物是我们人类的好朋友，要珍惜爱护动物。

重点：能听、说、认读几个新单词tall, short, thin, fat，以及几个指令，并按指令做动作。

1.T: (出示长颈鹿图片，问)What’s this Ss: It’s a giraffe.
T: Wow! It’s so tall. (教学tall并板书)师领读。
2.T: 师指一个比较矮的长颈鹿说It’s short。板书short并教学这个单词。
3.通过以上方式教学thin与fat。
