I. Material analysis
本课是第六单元话题三的第三课时,是一节阅读课,主要活动是1a,1b和2。通过看图、浏览文章标题对文章内容进行预测,学习常见的交通规则,通过阅读填表掌握寻读的阅读技巧等;学习常见的交通标志,并进一步学习交通规则以及一些简单的交通违规现象的英文表达法,培养学生的交通安全意识,懂得珍爱生命。本课的话题涉及到了谈论交通违规现象、交通标志的英文表达以及相应的交通规则,因此我在教授学生英语词汇、语法、功能之外,还结合话题渗透对学生的交通安全教育,培养学生的交通安全意识,帮助他们树立遵守交通规则的意识,懂得珍爱生命,意识到Safety must come first。
II. Teaching aims
1.Knowledge aims
掌握以下新单词;
safe, hurt, lose, accident, obey, rule, cross, sign, before, both, third, last, careful, ticket, speed, wrong, place, fast等。
能够就“谈论交通标志、交通安全、交通规则和警告”等话题功能进行交流与对话操练,如:
(1) First, we must obey the traffic rules.
(2) Second, before we cross the street, we must stop and look both ways …
