【教学目标】

Some verb phrases: turn around, hold on, fall off, run to, come down, climb on, and give sb. a push

【教学过程】
Step 1．温故知新
Check some words and phrases.
Step 2．激情导入
Ⅰ．Lead in
Ⅱ．Work in pairs. Tell your partner what you did after school yesterday. The teacher walks around to provide help if necessary.

2．T: Good, please have a discussion in groups and the give a talk.
Step 3．新课学习
Ⅰ．Showing the Teaching Aims on the blackboard and asking students to read them together.
1．Remembering some new words and phrases of lesson 5work in group.
2．Talking about seasons.
3．Understanding the dialogue meaning.
Ⅱ．Come to "THINK ABOUT IT"
Work in group and talk about it, then answer them.
Ⅲ．Learning lesson 5by themselves in groups.
1．Listen to the passage and correct pronunciation, understand the dialogue meaning.
2．Listen to the dialogues and answers some questions, read after it until they can read it correctly and fluently.
(Listening once or three times for finishing off number 1of Let's Do It.)
Ⅳ．Skim the text and ask questions by the students themselves. Then solve them by themselves, too.
1．Let some students write their questions on the blackboard. Then let others answer them.
2．Then, read the dialogue one sentence by one sentence and find something that it's important or you don't understand it. Then ask them to read the dialogue aloud in pairs and later pick out the useful phrases. Explain the key phrases to them. (Finish off number 2 of Let's Do It.)
3．At last, Write down something important on your notebook and explain.
Ⅴ．Work in groups. Finish part 3of Let's Do It and discuss it with each other. Then present it to the whole class. Ask the students to talk about their seasons in groups.
Ⅵ．Come to "THINK ABOUT IT".
In a group of three, make up a "babysitting" role-play. Ask volunteers to act it out. Then it's the other students' turn.
