Step 1. Warming up
Ask students some questions.
Questions: Do you like visiting museums What do you expect to see
Then, show students some pictures of the items to see in the museums.
Step 2 Pre-reading
Ask students to look at the picture and the title to predict what the content of the text is.
Give us a short introduction about the ancient Chinese art exhibition.
Step 3 Read for details
Listen to the text and find out the answers to the following questions.
1. When was Tang Yin born
2.Why did Tang Yin turn to painting
3. What type of writing is this text
4.How much should two adults with a kid under 5 pay for the admission
5. What is the purpose of the exhibition mentioned in the text
6. How would you probably feel if you visited this exhibition
Answers: order:
He was born during the Ming Dynasty.
The reason why he turned to painting was that he failed to enter the civil service.

Notice
In order to promote Chinese culture, the Student Union will hold a Chinese Poetry Conference. I'd like to inform you of some details.
As scheduled, the conference is to be held in the school lecture hall at 9:00 a.m. on June 20, before which you are supposed to get adequately prepared. Therefore, it's strongly recommended that you recite enough classical poetry and focus on the poems of the Tang Dynasty. The appealing prize Three Hundred Tang Poems is waiting for you. Whoever wants to participate, please sign up in the Student Union office before March 31.
