学情分析:
三年级小学生乐于模仿和表现,也很喜欢小动物,对本单元的英语学习兴趣浓厚,热情高涨。从学生已知的认知水平和熟悉的生活经验出发,在Lesson 25~27的What’s this/that It’s.... A cat No! It’s....的基础上,继续学习动物类词汇和一般疑问句Is it... 及应答。
教学重点:
能够正确听说认读quail,rabbit,rooster,并书写字母Qq和
Rr;
2. 理解并运用目标语句Is it... No, it’s... / Yes, it’s....问答事物。
教学难点:
1. 首次接触的Is it... 句型易与旧知It is....混淆;
2. 能在真实的语境中灵活的运用目标语句问答事物。
教学过程:
I. Warm-up&Revision:
1. Sing the ABC song. 活跃课堂气氛,感知并复习字母。
2. Show the picture “owl” and review Lesson 27.
复习Lesson 27 以旧A cat No.带新Is it a cat No, it’s an owl.
II. Presentation:
Point at the “owl” and ask “Is it an owl ” to check the answer of the students “Yes, it’s an owl. ” 检测学生是否理解新句型“Is it ... ”
Show the picture “tiger” and ask “Is it a lion ” to use the new drill and know “tiger”. 帮助学生加深理解新句型并为歌曲部分扫清障碍。
3. Let the students look at the picture “rabbit” and help me to ask “ Is it a mouse ” and answer. Act like a rabbit. 词不离句,巩固新句型。
4. Understand “chick”. Show the picture “egg” and ask “Is it a mango ” and tell the students I like eggs. How about you Show the picture “chicken” and say “I don’t like chicken. Do you like chicken ” 通过问答加深学生对新句型的理解并为以旧chicken带新chick和歌曲部分做铺垫。
5. Show the pictures “hen” and “rooster” to ask “Is it a chick ” And explain their meanings: a chick’s mother and a chick’s father. 并通过已学的kangaroo引导学生独立读出新词rooster的正确读音。
6. Teach “quail”. Show the picture “quail” and ask the students “What’s this Is it a chick ” “No, it’s a quail.”
7. Teach the letters “Qq” and “Rr”.
8. You did a good job and have known the quail. How about Gao Wei Let’s watch the flash. Read the dialogue in groups and in roles.
III. Practice:
Act out the dialogue in pairs.
Make up a new dialogue.
Letter and word games.
Sing the song from A to R.
