一、教材分析
单元及课文分析
本单元的日常用语主要围绕英语的生活化,教材为学生安排了多种使用学习英语的语言环境,帮助学习理解并掌握英语的重要性,以及如何运用和使用英语。在本课的英语中,着重强调如何学习英语,让同学们在交流中学会学习英语的方式方法。
二、教学目标:
知识目标
1.词汇:magazine,newspaper,mistake,silly ,Hong Kong,storybook
短语及句型:enjoy oneself,look it up in a dictionary,
be afraid to do sth.
So I look them up in a dictionary.
I can enjoy myself and learn English at the same time.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes!
能力目标
1.Enable students to talk about how to learn English well..
2.Help the students learn how to learn English well..
情感目标
学生通过形式多样、丰富多彩的活动,学习故事的内容,理解其内涵,激发学生自主合作学习、运用英语进行体验学习的兴趣,培养学生学会欣赏他人、热爱他人的情感。
教学重点
学生掌握本课词汇及句型:
enjoy oneself,look it up in a dictionary,be afraid to do sth.
6.教学难点
Get the students to learn about the method of learning English well.
7.学习策略
通过介绍Jessica学习英语的方法,使同学们养成勤查字典,多读,多说的习惯,并且要坚持不懈、持之以恒。
三、教学步骤
Step1. Warm-up
Students practice the tongue twisters and then play against each other to see who can say them the most quickly.
设计意图:学生通过练习英语绕口令快速形成语感激活课堂。
Step2. Lead-in
Ask and answer the questions
1.Do you love learning English
2.Do you often speak English with your classmates and friends
3.Do you watch English TV shows and movies
4.Do you listen to English music in your free time
5.Do you read English every day
设计意图:通过与学生的问答让学生的思路转到本课内容上来,为新课的学习留下铺垫。
Step3.presentation
Show pictures of the new vocabulary:
magazine,newspaper,mistake,silly ,Hong Kong,storybook
设计意图:图片展示新词,给学生以直观的印象。

(2) I don’t know the meaning of the word, I’ll look it up in a dictionary.
