Story time 本课时主要是对本单元所学知识的综合性考查以及学习一篇关于Zip和Zoom的拓展性小故事。 课时目标 1. 考查学生是否能够熟练地听、说本单元的主要句型以及听、说、认读本单元的重点单词。 2. 学会歌曲Boy and girl。 3. 能根据图片和录音完成相关习题。 4. 能够通过图文理解Zip和Zoom的小故事，并在老师的指导下表演小故事，培养学生乐于模仿、敢于交流的能力。 重点难点 重点： 能根据图片和录音完成相关习题。 难点： 能够角色表演Story time。 教学准备 1. 教学光盘； 2. 人物头饰。 教学设计 Step I Warming up (热身) 活动一：Revision 教师展示Amy和Mr Jones的图片，让学生用上节课所学的内容来介绍一下他们（在介绍时，老师可提供线索，比如年龄、身份、国籍等等），请三名学生来说说，看谁说的最详细、最流利。 T: Look! Who is she Can you introduce this girl How old is she Is she a teacher or a student Where is she from S1: ... S2: ... S3: ... 活动二：Let’s sing 1. 教师播放歌曲Boy and girl。听第一遍，初步感知歌曲大意（给学生一分钟时间熟读，请两个学生课堂展示）。接着听第二遍，让学生一边拍手一边和节奏一起齐声歌唱。 2. 教师询问学生：“Do you want to be my friend ”，选几个学生作答，在教师评价中引出teacher和student，鼓励学生用teacher和student来替换boy、girl，重新翻唱这首儿歌。 T: Do you want to be my friend Ss: Yes! T: Good. We are good friends, right I am a teacher and you are students. Everybody, give me your hands. Let’s sing together! I am a teacher and you are students. I am a teacher and you are a student... Step II Presentation (新课呈现) 活动：Story time 1. Pre-reading Zip和Zoom也想当老师和学生，看看他们想通过什么方式去尝试呢。观察第一幅图片，请两个同学说一说。 T: Boys and girls, Zip and Zoom also want to be a teacher and a student. Please look at the first picture. What are they talking about What will they do S1: They will play a game. They will play a teacher and a student. 2. While-reading （1）教师引入情境，Zip和Zoom想扮演老师和学生，那么谁想当老师呢？让学生边听录音边阅读第一幅图和第二幅图的内容，请学生回答下面的问题。 ●Who wants to be the teacher ●Why does Zoom think he can be the teacher What about Zip ●What about your idea （2）教师让学生阅读文本，找到Zoom和Zip认为自己可以当老师的理由并举手回答。 （3）教师请学生两两一组模仿第一幅图和第二幅图Zoom和Zip的对话，提醒学生注意肢体语音和语音语调并展示。然后再询问学生自己的看法：你认为谁扮演老师比较好呢？播放剩余的录音，学生边听边默读，一起找答案。 T: Dear class, do you think who can be the teacher Ss: ... T: OK. Now, let’s read the following part and see who is the teacher. （4）教师请学生找出答案究竟谁扮演了老师。并通过提问来引入难点“Can you... Sure.”句型的学习，教师板书并进行简单的讲解和练习。 T: Can you find the answer, boys and girls (教师对Can you... 的句型进行简单讲解） Ss: Yes. T: Good! When I say “Can you... ”, you can answer “Yes” or “Sure”. Step III Practice (新知操练) 活动一：Post-reading. 1. 教师引导学生想一想什么样的人才可以成为老师呢。 T: So, what do you think of Zip Ss: He is so clever. T: Zip is small but he can be a teacher, right So, a teacher can be small or weak, but a teacher must be clever or wise in his mind. 活动二：角色扮演 教师播放Story time的动画视频，学生跟读。同时提醒学生观察Zip 和Zoom的语音语调和肢体动作。给学生三分钟时间，两两一组，分角色表演故事。教师请学生上台展示，对表现好的小组给予奖励。 Step IV Extension (拓展运用) 活动一：Listen and number 1. 教师告诉学生Amy也有很多朋友，让我们一起来听听他们都是谁。首先引导学生观察Listen and number中的图片，提出问题“Who are they ”、“Who is teacher Who is student ”，让孩子带着问题去观察，初步判断Amy的朋友们都处在什么场景之中。接着请两个学生来作答，给出自己的分析。 2. 教师播放Listen and number部分的录音，看一看自己分析的对不对，并完成排序。教师请学生分享自己所听到的答案。 活动二：Look and match 教师引导学生观察Look and match部分的照片，观察Amy在学校里的老师和朋友。并把相应的单词和图片进行连线，随后教师核对答案。 板书设计 Unit 1 Welcome back to school 第6课时 Who is the teacher Can you... 教学反思 本课时是练习课和泛读课相融合的一个综合性课程，前半部分是对单元主题内容的一个拓展性泛读，后半部分是复习本单元的重点知识。整节课根据学生的认知和理解安排，节奏前快后慢，在复习之余，也掌握到一些新的知识，同时也提高了学生泛读的阅读水平。 【设计意图】预习第6课时的学习内容。 【设计意图】复习前5个课时的学习内容。 【设计意图】通过介绍人物来复习上节课的学习内容，帮助学生迅速回忆和激活本单元的重点知识。 【设计意图】把简单易学的Let’s sing放到热身环节，不仅能迅速活跃课堂气氛，也可以复习到本单元的重点单词，同时为后面的练习也做好了铺垫。 【备注】教授歌谣时，可用不同的单词对歌谣中的单词进行替换，这样可以复习更多的词汇。 【设计意图】通过PWP步骤进行Story time部分的教学，在读前活动中，通过猜测Zip 和Zoom通过什么方式来当老师和学生引发学生的好奇心。在读中环节，通过问题来了解故事细节，并让学生思考问题，培养学生的创造型思维和独立思考的能力。 【备注】把难点句型“Can you... Sure.”的学习融入到课堂的提问之中，在师生互相沟通和交流的时候熟悉本节课的难点知识。 【设计意图】在读后和学生讨论并给出启发，老师和身体的大小无关，而和头脑的聪慧有关，对故事主题进行升华。 【设计意图】引导学生先分析Listen and number中的场景，这样练习时效果更佳。
