语态是动词的一种形式，用于说明主语和谓语之间的关系。英语的语态有两种，即主动语态Active voice和被动语态Passive voice。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者，被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者,即行为动作的对象。

被动语态的用法：
1.不知道或没有必要指出动作的执行者是谁。
Some new computers were stolen last night.
一些新电脑在昨晚被盗了。（不知道电脑是谁偷的。）
2.需要强调动作的承受者。
The window was broken by Mike.
窗户是迈克打碎的。（强调窗户碎了。）
People speak English in the world.
English is spoken by people in the world.

表示材料的物理变化，也就是形状发生改变，成品是可以看出原材料的。
be made from 由...制成，后面接制作材料
指从成品身上已经看不出原材料是什么，已经发生化学变化。
