教学背景：人教版小学英语五年级下册，教学对象是已经有三年英语学习基础的农村孩子。
学情分析：农村英语教学资源缺乏，教学设施不完备，学生的学习资料贫乏，学习途径、学习手段单一，他们手中甚至练习册、教材磁带都没有，课后无法进行有效复习、持久复习，不能达到语言交际能力的生成。 由于各方面综合因素影响，学生对单调、单一、机械的英语学习方式感觉乏味。因此，在班级中尽可能营造一个轻松愉悦的英语天地，师生之间自由自在畅所欲言，就英语学习的各方面进行交流与分享。同时，吸引更多同学参与进来，进行语言交流
教学目标：
知识目标：Words： favorite

2.能力目标：能正确使用句子What are they doing？ They are playing badminton/tennis/ping-pong 并在生活中灵活运用这些句型进行交流。
3.情感目标：引导学生热爱体育，热爱运动的良好习惯。

课前准备：教科书 ,CD, PPT，the pictures and some things of sporting.

（一）歌曲导入 激发情趣

（二）出示课题 目标明确

（三）激趣导入 传授新知
1、 Check and teach new words.
(1) Check new words in groups, then say and say each other.
