一、教材分析:本单元的话题是“Weekend”,孩子们对谈论周末自己和他人活动的话题是很感兴趣的,贴近他们的日常生活。本课以Liming, Liming’s parents,Peter和Danny去野餐,通过询问对方周末活动这样一个故事为背景,学习运用“--What does...do at the weekend –He/ She often....Sometimes...”核心句型,培养学生在真实的语境中运用英语的能力。
因此本课的语言功能是询问他人周末活动及相应回答,重点学习任务是“--What does...do at the weekend –He/ She often... .Sometimes...”,初步理解动词第三人称单数的变化形式。
二、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1.能听懂、会说、认读本课的新词:picnic, cinema, go shopping, go fishing.
2.能听懂、会说、认读与周末活动相关的句型
“--What does...do at the weekend –He/ She often....Sometimes...”
(二)能力目标能运用所学句型谈论自己和他人的周末活动。
(三)情感目标培养学生健康、广泛的兴趣爱好。

(一)重点能听懂、会说、认读并运用句型“--What does...do at the weekend –He/She often....Sometimes...”
(二)难点能够准确运用often, sometimes于所学句型中;初步理解动词第三人称的变化及读音。

五、教学过程
Step 1:Warming-up
T: Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss : Good morning.
T: Children, look at pictures, chant and action. Football, football, let’s play football. Basketball, basketball, let’s play basketball. Swimming, swimming, let’s go swimming. Climb the hill, climb the hill, let’s climb the hill.
T: Do you like climbing the hill
S; Yes.
T: Me too. I often climb the hill at the weekend. How about you
S:I don’t like climbing the hill. I like ...
T: Sounds good. Do you often ...
S:Yes.I often ... at the weekend.
T:What do you do at the weekend
S:I often ......
T:Great (It’s relaxing.).She/He often ......at the weekend. What about you .....We have many interesting things to do at the weekend. Today, we’ll go on talking about the weekend.

【设计意图:这首chant能激活学生已有的知识经验,复习以前所学与周末活动相关的短语,同时又以chant作为话题进行free talk, 不仅拉近了与学生的距离,更多的是为新知的呈现做了铺垫,让学生快速进入本课的学习主题。】
Step 2:Presentation
1.
T: Boys and girls, watch the video and answer the questions:

【设计意图:分部分让学生带着问题进入课文,引发他们的好奇心,启发独立思考,培养了他们学习的主动性;单词在一定的语境中呈现,可以让学生自然地接受。同时在教单词的过程中,做到词不离句,培养了孩子们的语言运用能力。】

【设计意图:让学生模仿跟读课文,感受地道的原声英语,纠正自身的发音。反复朗读课文,加深对课文的总体理解。这一环节,通过让学生用自己喜欢的声音及方式分角色配音,给学生足够的机会展示自己,不仅培养了他们的语感,还培养了他们的合作精神。而根据本课文本设计的知识抢答,既巩固练习了动词三单的变化形式及读音,又大大提高了孩子们的学习兴趣。】
Step 3:Practice1.
T: Everyone did a good job, let’s chant. Football, football, he plays football. Basketball, basketball, he plays basketball. Swimming, swimming, he goes swimming. Fishing, fishing, he goes fishing. Shopping, shopping, he goes shopping. Cinema, cinema, he goes to the cinema.
2.Let’s talk.
Talk about the four pictures and show.
【设计意图:运用Chant,将所学单词和句型融入欢快的乐曲中,既缓解了学生的紧张感和疲劳感,营造了一种宽松的、安全的氛围,又将重点知识串联起来,进行了巩固。而Let’s talk环节是对本节所学重点句式
“--What does...do at the weekend –He/ She often... .Sometimes...”灵活运用,为后面拓展环节打下基础。】
Step4 :Production
T: Now, please take out your family photo, let’s talk about our family weekend. Such as:(introduce teacher’s family weekend).Talk about it in groups and show
T:I know you all have a nice weekend. We can do interesting things at the weekend. We also can do meaningful things. My son often does that.(出示图片) If you want, you can make your weekend colorful.
【设计意图:通过展示家庭照片介绍家人周末生活将本堂所学知识点与学生实际生活相结合,达到了英语源于生活、用于生活的目的,提高了孩子们综合运用语言的能力。而为孩子们展示周末公益活动照片,以此提高孩子们的人文素养,倡导孩子们为社会尽一份力量。】
