主要教学步骤
Step 1: Lead-in (1)At the beginning of the class, greet the class with a smile. (2)Ask students some questions, several minutes later, some student will be invited to share their answers to the whole class. Q1:What means of transportation do you know Q2:How do you get to school Q3:How do your parents go to work The teacher will give his own comments on students' answers. Step 2:Presentation Show students some numbers and some new sentence patterns on the PPT such as 84,105,99,200/How do you get to school I take the subway./How long does it take It takes about 15minutes./How far is it from your home to school It's about 45 kilometers. Ask the students to read the numbers and these new sentence patterns after you. Read each number three times. The teacher explains the reading and writing rules of these numbers and the meaning and usage of these new sentence patterns to ensure that every student understands what you say. Step 3:Practice (1)Ask the students to listen this number and repeat it, complete the task of 2a. Check the answers. (2) Listening Ask the students to look at 2b. Think about what information we should pay attention to when listening. Then the teacher play the recording. After listening, ask the students to try to complete the chart of 2b. 3minutes later, the teacher play the recording again, students can check their answers, then the teacher gives the correct answers. Pair work Divide the students into groups of two and then use the information of 2b to make a conversations. They can imitate the following conversation to make their own conversations. A:How do you get to school B:I.... A:How long does it take... B:It takes .... A:How far is it from ... . to .... B:It's about.... Several groups will be invited to perform their dialogue in front of the classroom. If they make mistakes, the teacher will correct them in time (4)Role-play Divide the students into groups of two. Let one student play the role of Lisa and the other play the role of Jane. Then role-play the conversation in 2e. Change roles and practice three times.
