Good morning, everyone. Now I’ll say junior Oxford English 8A Unit 1GrammarAB&C. I’ll prepare to say the lesson from four parts.
Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material
(一)Status and Function(Teaching contents)
This is the fifth lesson of the unit. This lesson continues to talk about the use of adjectives,comparatives and suplatives. It’s very important and difficult. From this, Ss can also extend their knowledge. Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
(二)Teaching aims and Demands
1.Knowledge objects
(1)To learn the use of the adjectives . (2)To use comparatives to compare two people/things.
(3) To use superlatives to compare three or more people/things
(4).To compare two people/things using ‘(not)as’+adjective+ ‘as’.
2.Ability objects
(1)To use the adjectives correctly.
(2) To use comparatives and superlatives correctly.
3. moral objects

(1)To use the adjectives correctly.(2) To use comparatives and superlatives correctly.
(3)To compare two people/things using ‘(not)as +adjective+as’.
Part Two The Teaching Methods

Part Three Studying Ways
1.Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners.
2.Let the Ss pass “Observation-Imitation-Practice” to study language.
3.Teach the Ss how to master the grammar and how to use it correctly.
Part Four Teaching Procedures I’ll finish the lesson in four steps.
Step1.Lead-in
T asks Ss to describe their best friends,taking the Reading part as a model.
Step2. Presentation 1.T shows descriptions of sb/sth and underlines some adjectives.
2.Ask Ss to work out the use of the adjectives,T can make a summary.
3.Discuss:if sb or sth are alike,how can we tell their difference
4.Show Ss a lot of pictures.Help them say sentences to compare the things with comparatives and superlatives.
5.Encourage Ss to work out the basic rules of using comparatives and superlatives.T can make a summary.
6.Give more examples,make sure Ss can understand the difference between comparatives and superlatives.
Step3. Practice 1..Finish off the exercises in part A&B.then check the answers.
2.Do the exercises on PPT to get the Ss to grasp the rules and the structures.
3..Finish off the exercises in their books.
Step4.Homework 1.Review grammar AB. 2.Recite the changing rules.
