1. 学生能够掌握本单元的单词并能运用这些单词造句。2. 学生能够采用跳读、略读、细读等方法阅读文章并能够对文章的关键信息进行捕捉。3. 学生能够总结归纳现在完成时的用法，并能在写作中运用介绍或描述他人的经历。4. 了解西方人热衷旅行、追求自由的个性；了解各地不同的地理环境和风景名胜。
教材分析 本模块的主题是个人的经历，主要通过现在完成时描述自己或他人的经历。第二单元的阅读是关于美国小孩迈克 罗宾逊的故事。迈克和妹妹随父亲在不同国家生活，先后在德国、法国、中国和埃及生活，他们学会了不同的语言，结识了各国的朋友。不过，迈克也很想念小时候的朋友。本单元通过美国男孩迈克.罗宾逊的故事，使学生能够准确理解并运用现在完成式询问他人的经历，也能够谈论自己经历过得有意义的、值得回忆的事情。通过学习，学生能够了解世界各地不同国家的风土人情与文化，培养多元文化意识及其民族自豪感。
学情分析 这是学生第一次正式学习现在完成时，学生对这个语法比较陌生，针对这种情况，尽量设计切合学生实际的问题，但是在阅读的过程中，注意培养学生克服生词障碍、猜测词义的能力还有待提高，通过学习期望学生能够读懂、听懂对他人经历的描述，并能询问他人和描述个人的经历。
教学目标 通过教学，让学生能够：在语境中理解并认读下列词汇：move, send, Germany, France, ancient, king, queen, Arabic, mix, count down, so far等运用skimming阅读技巧找出文章中心大意和每一段的段落大意。3.运用scanning，careful reading等阅读技巧从文章中找出Mike在埃及旅游经历的细节信息。4..根据上下文及已有的背景知识猜测ancient，mix的生词含义。5.连贯、流畅的朗读课文
