一．教学目标
1.能够听，说，认读下列单词：information, project, guide, film, as well, way, topic
2.能够使用句型“We can get information from +其他.”来表达获取信息的渠道。
3.情感目标：爱上阅读，学会从书籍等资料获取需要的信息。
二．教学重难点
1.教授单词：information, project, guide, film, topic2.使用句型“We can find information from +其他.”来表达这获取信息的渠道。3.学习如何收集信息，完成项目。
三．教学过程
Step1: Greeting and Warming up师生问候，分组，练习活动五的 chant Let’s go to the library. There’s a lot of enjoy. Books, CDs and computers. You can read, listen and play!
【设计意图】利用 chant帮助学生复习所学内容，并以此激发学生的学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2: Review
1. 课件出示贴有 Shelf A，Shelf B，Shelf C的书架，书架从上到下分别摆有不同的书，利用书架上摆放的物品，复习上节课所学句型“Where are the...,please They are on...”。
2. 展示上一单元 A4图片，复习句型 Here’s ..... Let’s ......
【设计意图】上课伊始, 用前一单元学过的内容和学生交谈，既复习了旧知识，又为本节课知识的拓展埋下了伏笔，起到了很好的过渡作用。Step 3: New words.用图片展示单词和教师教授单词：
information, guide, film, e-book, project, way
【设计意图】学习新单词，为学习课文打好基础。
Step 4： Text learning
1. 出示问题： Where can we find information 并观看活动二视频。回答问题后总结: There’re lots of different ways to find information on this topic.
【设计意图】让学生带着任务有目的地学课文，对所学句型有一个初步的认识,并对课文有一个整体的感知。
2. 观看课文视频，跟读课文，学习课文重难点，自主朗读和整体朗读.
【设计意图】学生根据教师所提问题看课文视频，使学生对课文有了初步的感知。然后再看视频，跟读朗读等，从而调动学生的眼、耳、脑等多种感官参与学习过程，深入理解课文内容，并为后面的练习做好铺垫。
Step 5: Practice
1. 朗读和连线，列出本课重点短语进行连线，如：
a science project, find information, as well, on this topic, school library, from books and CDs.
2. 火眼金睛读短语: lots of different ways, find information, the school library, as well, on this topic, a guide for us
【设计意图】让学生在练习的过程中巩固课文的主要内容。Step 6: Group work
1. 小组讨论，如果要写关于恐龙的文章，我们可以从哪里查找信息？用 We can find information from ... 来回答。
【设计意图】巩固和输出本课重点句型 We can find information from ...
2. 小组讨论: Who can be the school librarian 两人一组, 练习句型： I want a Chinese book. Where can I find it You can find it on shelf B.【设计意图】练习活动一内容。
Step7： Summary
1. 询问别人在哪里能找到某物的句型：Where can I find...
2. 表达能从某处找到信息的句型：...can find information from...
3. Who are the winners，boys or girls
Step 8: Homework
Make a home library and introduce it to your friends.
