Teaching Procedures Step 1 Warming up Greetings. Free talk and divide students into four groups. Let us chant together. Step 2 Presentation Review the old words and sentences. Then lead to the new words. Teach the new words one by one. Each words has different learning and practice. 2, Then point out the key sentence pattern: Where are the socks What colour are they Step 3 listening Firstly, just listen, enjoy the words and pay much attention on the writing of the words. Then listen and repeat the words. Listen and practice the words. Step 4 Activities You are going on a trip. Firstly you should finish 3 tasks. Play a game: Magic fingers Say the fingers and words quickly and students say the words as quickly as they can. Say a sentences Encourage students to use the new words to say different sentences. 3 Pair work. Firstly, just practice the example. A: Where are my socks B: What colour are they A: White. B: They are on the floor. Then practice in pairs. At last, invite students to show their conversations. Step 5 Extension You have finished all the tasks. Wonderful. You can go on a trip. Look at your English books, there are many clothes, you can choose them, colour them and talk them with your friends at home. Now let’s enjoy and sing a song. <> 3 It’s time to go out to play.
