Li Ming: Good! Are you free now My cousin, Li Jing, would like to
speak to you.
Jenny: OK! No problem!
Li Jing: Hello, Jenny! This is Li Jing. I’m happy to talk with you.
Jenny: Hi, Li Jing! I’m sorry. I can’t hear you very well. Could you
speak more loudly
Li Jing: Sorry, I can’t follow you. Please say that again.
Jenny: OK. Could you speak more loudly

call v. 打电话
call sb. 给某人打电话
【例句】
My uncle called my father from Spain last week.

在“call / ring sb.up”短语中, sb.是人称代词时必须用人称代词的宾格形式且放在中间。
【例句】
My brother called me up yesterday.
昨天我的哥哥给我打了电话。

英语中“给某人打电话”的说法:
telephone / phone sb.或make a phone call to sb.

This is ... speaking. “我是......”, 此句用于打电话时的自我介绍。

辨析speak, tell, talk和say
speak 指说话的能力和方式, 也可接表示语言的词作宾语。 She can speak English. 她会说英语。
tell 通常指讲述事情或故事, 固定结构为tell sb. to do sth. My mother tells me not to play computer games too much.
我的妈妈告诉我不要过多地玩电脑游戏。
talk 指相互之间的谈话, 常见的短语有talk to / with sb.; talk about sth. / sb. The two boys are talking about the new teacher.
这两个男孩正在谈论新老师。
say 强调说话的内容 Ben never forgets to say“Please” and“Thank you”.
Ben从来不忘说“请”和“谢谢”。
3. No problem! (教材P66)
No problem! 用来表示答应某人的请求, 表示“没问题!”。
【例句】
— Could you lend me a pen 你能借给我一支钢笔吗
— No problem. 没问题。
【拓展】
No problem还可以用来回应道谢和道歉。例如:
— Thank you very much. 非常感谢你。
— No problem. 没什么。
— Excuse me for smoking here. 请见谅我在这儿抽烟。
—No problem. 没关系。
辨析: problem和question
problem 指理科习题或特别难以解决的问题, 常与solve或work out连用。
question 指需要解答的问题, 常与ask或answer连用。
【例如】
The maths problem is too hard for me to work out.
这道数学题对我来说太难了, 我计算不出来。
I have many questions to ask. 我有许多问题要问。
4. Could you speak more loudly (教材P66)
could v.aux. 能; 可能
could是can的过去式, 后面跟动词原形, 它没有人称和数的变化。例句中could表示语气更加委婉客气 (回答要用can)。
【例句】
— Could you tell me the way to the park
你能告诉我去公园的路吗
— Sure. / Of course.
当然可以。
loudly adv. 高声地, 大声地; 吵闹地
辨析: loudly, aloud与loud
【例句】
He knocked at the door loudly.
他敲门敲得很大声。
I heard a loud bang and then saw black smoke.
我听到砰的一声巨响, 接着就看到了黑烟。
Jim read the letter aloud.
Jim出声读了这封信。
5. Jenny and Li Jing have a good talk. (教材P66)
have a good talk 有一次愉快的谈话
talk是可数名词, 表示“谈话, 会话”。have a talk with sb. about sth.的意思是“与某人谈论某事”。
【例句】
