Period 4 (语法归纳:Present perfect)
教材分析:
What: 本课的内容是外研版八年级下册第二模块第三单元。本模块的话题是个人的经历,主要谈论与旅游相关的经历。属于“人与社会”主题。 Around the world 专栏紧扣“经历”这个主题词,它主要讲述的是来自尼泊尔的丹增 诺尔盖和来自新西兰的埃德蒙 希拉里克服千难万险首次登上珠峰的经历。
Why: 这个文本不仅可以让学生进行拓展性阅读,还可以对学生进行世界观和
人生观的正向引导,鼓励他们挑战未知事物,树立遇到困难,努力去克服的精神。
How: 第三单元是语言综合运用课,通过听说和写的练习学习和巩固现在完成时
的意义和用法以及现在完成时的几种结构(肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句、肯否定回答以及特殊疑问句)。
学情分析:
八年级的学生已经学过了五种时态,这是第一次正式学习现在完成时,通过第一单元和第二单元的学习,他们对现在完成时的基本含义和结构有了大概的了解,但概念比较模糊,运用的能力较弱。
教学目标:
在课程结束时,学生将能做到以下几点:
能理解现在完成时的含义和用法;
能总结现在完成时的基本结构;
能运用现在完成时介绍自己和询问他人在某方面的经历。教学重难点:

教学用具: 多媒体教 学 步 骤 : Presentation
Step 1 Lead in
Ask students to think about two questions:
① How can we describe our experiences
② What kind of tense can we use in it
Play a song called “Have you ever” and let them find out the tense.
Purpose:To activate the class atmosphere and lead in the topic we will learn today.
Step 2 Grammar learning
Show students some examples and let them know what the present perfect tense is.
Ask them to find more examples in the dialogue in U1 and in the passage in U2.
List some examples and let them summarize the structure of the present perfect tense.
Affirmative form: have/has+done Negative form: haven’t/hasn’t+done
General question: Have/Has+subject+done+其他Yes,... have/has.
No, ...haven’t/ hasn’t.
Give them some examples to summarize the past participle form of the verbs.
① Regular verbs
② Irregular verbs
List some sentences in U1 and U2. Then let them find time words in the present perfect tense.
( 现 在 完 成 时 往 往 与 表 示 不 确 定 的 时 间 状 语 连 用 , 如 before ,
ever,already,just, so far, up to 等。)
Purpose: To encourage students to get a better understanding of what the present tense is from the examples I give them. Let them summarize the structure of the tense from the sentences in our text. Practise the students’ abilities of observing and summarizing.
Practice
Step 1 Finish a postcard
Ask students to look at the pictures and make sentences by using the present perfect tense. Ask the students to look at Rob’s experiences and complete the postcard.
Step 2 Listen and talk
Ask students to listen to a dialogue and complete the table.
Before listening, explain “have been to” (went to someplace in the past, but have come back)
Ask them to listen again and answer some questions.
Before playing the recording, try to let students summarize the “wh-question” of the
present perfect tense according to Q1 and Q3. (疑问词+have/has+主语+done+其他)
Step 3 Read and answer
Introduce the two men and ask why they are famous.
Ask the students to read the short passage and answer:
What difficulties did they face at that time
Explain “freezing” and “oxygen”.
Tell the students that the two men got over the difficulties, so they were heroes. Moral education: Whatever difficulties we meet, we should try our best to get over them.
Purpose : To help the students consolidate the present perfect tense by speaking,
writing, listening and reading.
Production
Step 1 Watch and share
Show them the pictures of the heroes in China. Tell them what the heroes have done for China.
Show a video from one of my students about what she has done at home.
Tell them that they can record a video about what they have done at home and share it with their English teacher or friends.
Purpose: To let the students try to talk about their experiences by using the present
perfect tense.
Step 2 Summary
